Metzican,
There is no quick fix. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon. You have to make up your own mind to trust Him.

What you do is pick a promise from God and repeat it to yourself, day or night.

Here is my promise:
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not have wants. (Psalm 23)

That's it. I shall not have wants. Before I get out of bed, and several times during the day and night, I claim that promise in Jesus name. If God said it, it's coming to pass.

If you want another verse, search the scriptures. If you have more questions, e-mail me.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of Faith.

religious scriptures act as a guideline for us to live life according to religious manners.the first step towards being religious is complete surrenderance to god,the almighty and complete faith in him!it often becomes hard to follow scriptures and develop trust in the ultimate power..u can just learn lessons from the nature itself which is created by god....i gives us so many examples of gods powers and his miracles..
the evolution of this world in itself will invite u to think of gods divine powers...nowadays medical sciences come up with proofs for each and every thing,,but i would like to bring this to ur attention that even doctors write Rx before writing a priscription...it means"in the name of god"...
i am slightly off track, but this is just to tell u that u can easily develop trust on god by being a keen observer....then u will start to discover his divine powers which are enough to sow a seed of strong faith in u!!!
