I think it is a shame that he didn't marry her in the first place. Diana might still be alive and would have been a happier person.

Royalty in the UK rules by consent... not right, so the "subjects" do have a right to comment on the fitness and suitable of both the King and Queen. A question over looked is if Tom her son is also Charles son, will he replace William as the future heir???

Rumours are already going around that the marriage is in trouble, and Camila is doing no public duties, she stormed of their boat trip last month and returned to her house, which is now paid for by Charles, and ultimately the British Tax payer... again another reason for the right of the "subjects" to comment on the Royal family.

He should do the decent think and retire into the back ground like Edward and Mrs Simpson, and let young William and Harry head up the royals.

I don't really think it should be anyones business. I mean it was definitely wrong what he did to Diana, I think the poor woman was nearly driven crazy but I when I heard that he had been in love with Camilla long before he met Diana I kind of softened to the two of them. I mean right or wrong most Kings have had a mistress and not many have actually married theirs. Henry the 8th is the only one I can think of. Also He seems like a good Dad and I have heard that the boys like her and that is more important then the opinion of the public. I think some how those 2 boys have turned out to be quite lovely and that all that counts in the end. So yes it would have been nice if they could have been together first but everything happens for a reason.

I agree that they should have gotten married in the first place. Unfortunately at the time, I don't think that Camilla would have been suitable as a royal bride because she wasn't a virgin. At the time, people didn't think it was right for their future Queen to have a past. Nowadays it would be looked upon as unrealistic to expect anyone over the age of 20 to not have had some sort of a past. This was the appeal of Diana who at the time of her marriage was 20, just barely out of her teens.

Putting aside Diana, I think that they are great together, they seem so happy and content and it's wonderful to see. I think that this will make Charles a better King in the long run.

I think they deserve each other. Had Charles married Camilla in the first place, Diana would not have become the woman we knew, with the warm, generous smile, who was able to connect with so many people in so many ways. Nor would she have had the generous lifestyle that she ao enjoyed.
But 'what ifs' aren't very productive. She could well have married someone else who would also have made her miserable. There are lots of twits in upper class Britain. We can't go back and change history, but hopefully, we can learn from it.

To be honest, I personally feel that Camilla & Charles should have gotten married right from the very beginning, instead of emotionally ruining Lady Di's life... I very much disagree with pre-arranged marriages!!

I'm happy he finally found happiness. He was forced to marry the late Lady Diana. And now he's with the woman he has always wanted to be with.

I agree Ghostlady, I was very angry with they way they treated Diana, and upset about what happened to her, and mourned for her along with millions of others, but life has to go on, and whether you like these people or not, I don't think any of us have the right to sit in judgement on them.

They are people, and deserve to be happy, just like anyone else........

Personally I think he is a A.H. and should have been banished to a remote island, the only good thing to have come out of the marriage are the 2 Princes.

I believe that he should never have been allowed to marry her.
He should have set an example, and he cheated on Diana for years, leaving her so unhappy. I felt that their marriage was yet another blow to Diana's memory. I truly hope that she is never made Queen.

yup, the two are a match made in the dog park, too bad he didn't have the balls to marry her from the start.

ps maybe it was the act of God that they get together post menopausally because the world couldn't take such ugly *** children if they had procreated.
