If you're jobless and filling out a personal ad and you get to the part where is says 'occupation' or 'profession', is there a better-sounding word than 'unemployed'?

I don't want to lie and say 'other', 'self-employed', 'semi-retired', or 'currently looking.' I want to be honest. I'm not working now because of a disability. But I also don't want to sound like a sloth.

'Transitioning' is one that I heard. 'Taking a sabbatical'?

Thanks for any suggestions.

You could say freelancer....but it would be best if you just said unemployed due to disability and then explain further. You do want to be honest, don't you? At least tell the truth, it doesn't matter if you've been jobless. You're mainly worrying about sounding like one because of society's pressure on people and those of us out there who have an extreme intolerance of unemployed persons regardless of the possible reasons why they're unemployed. Don't let it bring you down, it doesn't matter what those jerkoffs think because they know NOTHING about you at all nor do they know WHY you're jobless. Have you been employed before the disability or not? Since I don't know that part in full, I hope this helps you somewhat. Good luck.

attempt utilising a loose quote equipment like the single ABBA existence coverage has. each from time to time you'll detect a more inexpensive existence coverage software in case you do pre qualification courses. you may continuously get a effortless non time period existence coverage software too for say, $50k without a clinical exam.

Considering many offers at a few "firms" or 'Offers" around the state, That way it seems like if you meet someone in your city you would take a job there. Whatever that job may be.

How about "retired early"? That would make it sound like you have a lot of money.
