Has anyone ever held a shoes off party and how did it go. Were there invitations instructions etc.

I have, and no, nobody minded at all. All shoes were left at the entry way, but I provided the footwear. You can get them from cheap to expensive. And it saves SO much on cleaning carpet.
So many people just don't wipe their feet before walking into someone else's home. I'm in the habit of it now. I always take my shoes off at the front door. No one has ever complained about that either.

Some people don't wear shoes in their home, and some people don't wear anything, so I say you should just comply with whatever the invite says if your going to the party, and if you are having the party, you can request that people remove their shoes if you don' want them to wear any!! If I had a party, it would be no shoes or clothes.

If you got to have a theme why not a shoes off party. It will give you a chance to see who has six toes or webs between thier toes. Aliens can be detected this way.
