I picture God as a loving, forgiving, compassionate Father. I do not see Him has angry, vengeful, or judging. This is not to say He is incapable of what must be done mind you. This is just how I see Him and identify with Him. I have only felt His mercy in this life. How do you identify with Him and see Him?

WHO really "knows" what "if your eyes are sound, your whole body will be full of light but if your eyes are no good your body will be in darkness."

Who really understands the parables and can connect them with the above words of Jesus. Who understands Jesus knowledge and how he went further then Buddha?

i had ppl ask me in my last Q if i was a muslim do i have to h8 everyone who isnt muslim, and try to kill them

Many of you know that women in the United States have fought for their rights to vote inherit property etc and it wasnt until about 80 years ago that they won that right. Women in Islam DIDNT HAVE 2 FIGHT FOR IT CAUSE THEY ALREADY HAD IT
also they wear their scarf so guy will like em for whats in her head not under her clothes

Our maid/nanny is always late and really doesn't seem to care about being on time. She was supposed to be here today at 11:00. 12:30 rolled around and she still wasn't here, so I called her. She told me that she was getting her hair done! This isn't the first incident and there are no more chances. She also stole some items. What's the best way to tell her that her services are no longer needed and that we don't want any further contact?

Sometimes people ridicule the idea that the universe (and particularly living organisms) could exist without a creator, citing the order and complexity thereof as being impossible to exist without a creator, but they then source that order and complexity in a god who himself exists without a creator. How is it possible to reconcile this contradiction? If order and complexity cannot exist uncreated then a designer who imparted that order and complexity to the universe cannot exist uncreated either.

For example: some people call other people names and are abusive... but when they are called a name, or get the same treatment they just dished out.... then they act like they can't believe that anyone would act in such a manner towards them. They even go so far as to get revenge. No body likes a hypocrite.

when you want to know about Islam , whom do you ask ?
I noticed that many people from other religions speak in the name of islam , they make many mistakes , omitt some facts and add some from I don't know where .
Isn't it just rational to follow the rule that says : If you don't know about something ask for knowledge from some one who knows ?

Do you believe Death waits for us, by default, simply because we are born into life?

I believe (and this is only my humble opinion, I am open to all others) that life is the process by means of which death challenges us. Death is the active force. Life is the arena. And in that arena there are only two contenders at any time: oneself and death. We are passive. Think about it. Death sets the pace for our actions and feelings and pushes us relentlessly until it breaks us and wins the bout. OR, we rise about all possibilities and defeat death by becoming accepting of our fates, not fearing it, having death acknowlege this defeat, and therein letting us go free, never to be challenged again.

I would really love to hear other's takes on this situation, perhaps being a touchy one, but remember, don't fear it! (j/k)
