Jesus teaching about turning the other cheek and the good samaritan story.even though the samaritan wasnt a jew,he helped a injured jew which at that time the 2 races hate each other.Really shows that if you really love your Lord,your love should extend towards everyone regardless of difference without expecting merits.
From Islam,the statement 'Let there be no compulsion in religion'.
people should not be forced to suscribe to any religion or ideology if they are not comfortable in doing so.

But sadly,the opposite is happening around the world right now..Sigh =(

I'm Christian - it's how I was raised - but I respect Buddhists infinitely. No, Buddhists do NOT worship Buddha. They follow principles, and guidelines to live by, all of which are peaceful and admirable. If I wasn't a Christian, I believe I'd be a Buddhist.

This is such a good question--it made me think.
I like the Hindu purification ritual of going to the Ganges river. It just has a good feel to the idea.

Modesty, that practiced by Orthodox Jews and yes Islam. Though I do not feel called to carry it quite to the degree that they do.
