This is not a question regarding the morality of abortion. It's not about Pro-choice or Pro-Life. Nor am I saying that men can't have an opinion. This is strictly a question regarding whether males should have a "vote" in deciding this issue. I'm asking for your opinion. I'm asking you to take this serious. I'm asking you to spare me the religious dogma.

Being as it's the woman who has to bear the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual consequences of the decision she makes regarding her pregnancy, why should males "have a vote" on this issue? No matter what the decision is, it's the woman whose life will be most affected. She will undergo physical changes. She will have emotional issues whether she aborts, gives the baby up for adoption or keeps the baby.

I am male and feel that men will never be faced with these issues but women (whether they have been pregnant yet or not) will at some point in their lifes be confronted with all these aspects of the issue.

All Religions march towards a common unity of people for their well-being on this earth. Ironically, all that is established in the name of good or God tends to segregate rather than integrate people, defeating the very purpose for which they have been set up. The responsibilitty and accountability therefore fall squarely on all people. When will the people end the cold wars for God's sake? There is far more disunity than unity which is unable to resolve the former. It is high time people went beyond the languages.

OK, hypothetically speaking. you stumble across a piece of evidence that is beyond any degree of bias or contention, 100% valid and beyond the shadow of any doubt.

This piece of evidence shows that one religion is correct, or perhaps that all religions have got it wrong so far, or perhaps (and I know this isnt realisitic) that there is no God and religion is pointless. Now, by definition this then shows that a LOT of people in the world have been getting it wrong. It means thousands of years of culture, of human development and the rest of it are based on nothing. It also takes away 'faith' as this conclusive bit of evidence no longer leaves any shadow of a doubt.

Now, my question to you is - at what price the truth? With factors like civil unrest, disbelief, the inevitable loss of faith as for once there is certainty, the 'ending' of 'incorrect' religions and many other implications it is plainly not a decision to be taken lightly.

But would you do it? Would you share it?

Why were so many books removed from the Bible when it was being compiled in 325? Doesn't it make you wonder how much of the truth was subtracted? I'm curious to know what those other books said. Are they still around?

i choose to be a "spiritualist" i like that name for it, becausse i was raised a christian but it doesnt feel like the right religion and i have a long line of wiccan ancesters, could this be why i was drawn to wicca in the first place, when i choose to call myself a wiccan it feels wrong like i'm disgracing my family and my God, and when i call myself a christian i feel like i'm hurting myself and disgracing my wiccan ancesters, so i call myself a spiritual, i dont have to preform any spells that go against my christian beliefs and i dont have to be christian (they would want me to try and convert ppl to their beliefs i hate that when it was done to me i wanted to start punching ppl so i wont do it to anyone) can i do this or is it impossible i know that on the christian side they say "anything is possible with God" what about on the wiccan side can you give me some positive reinforcement or am i alone on this

I think god made it that way. Some men think they are smarter and stronger. Why is that?Yes i'd have to say men are the muscel and women are the brain. So many of us are getting to excited about things and sitting on our @ss's too much. While women get in the army and get stronger and mentaly smarter. Sooner or later women are gonna be the brain and the muscel. Wait till it happens, when we get a woman president everything will change. Woman will rule the world, but sometimes I think the world might be better if a woman ruled the world.Maybe most of the killings, rapings, abusing, ect. will stop! Do you think it will?

A prank flash is a flash movie which is very quiet, so you turn the volume up. The content may require you to examine something, so you look closely at the screen. Then right at the end, a scary face pops up and you hear a very loud scream (full volume!)

I must say that I hate prank flashes. I unwittingly watched one a couple of days ago, and now I find myself unable to watch ANY flash till the end, for fear of being scared. I even get scared when my screen saver comes on.

Obviously, if a person has a heart condition or if they are pregnant, a prank flash can do serious harm.
On the other hand, I can -- to a very limited degree -- understand why someone would think that they are funny. I am also aware that some people watch them intentionally, because they enjoy the adrenaline rush from a good scare.

What do you think? Are prank flashes a legitimate type of fun, or should they be banned entirely, since they can actually kill an unsuspecting viewer?

How can the Bible be the Word of God when it's been changed and translated so many times. The bible wasn't even written during the life of Jesus, so how can you even believe its accurate?

Okay, so a woman left a message on my machine, wanting toset up an over-the-phone interview, left her first name and a phone number, yet, apparently, forgot to leave the name of the business.
I don't want to go into an interview completely unprepared, without a clue as to whom I am talking to.

I don't recognize the number, can't find the area code in the phone book.

So, how do I find out where this phone number connects to?

Suggestions please?
