But if you are wondering I am not seeking to convert or be converted. I am offering us all a peaceful way to correct misconceptions and lies.

What a great idea for a question! I hope the answers here stay respectful.

I'm a Christian, and I think it's important to point out that the vast majority of us are not at all hateful, like we are too often portrayed. Most of us would never dream of bombing an abortion clinic, picketing a homosexual person's funeral, or damning anyone to hell (SO not our job!)

Most Christians go to church regularly, quietly do service in the community, lovingly help neighbors and family members whether they're Christians or not, and generally try to make a positive difference. Do we mess up? Absolutely we do. Everyone does. But most of us are trying to live a Christian life, the way Jesus did.

Catholics DO NOT worship Mary or the Saints. Only God (Trinity)

Protestant belief that Catholics don't read Bibles because they don't see them carrying them into church....a book called a Missel in the pews already have the readings...Old Testament, then New and then Gospel reading. In 3 years time the entire Bible is read in church. There is More Bible reading done in the Catholic Church than anywhere else.

P.S. Dear ANTHONY:
How did you ever become a Chaplain and be so ignorant of your Catholic faith as to leave it? You obviously did not learn what the Catholic faith is. Especially to make the comment, I was Catholic and now I'm Christian.
