I would question whether that voice was from God, because I do not believe we have to leave this earth to 'be with God'. Sure, we do in order to see Him face to face, and I am looking forward to that someday.
Nor do I have to leave this earth to 'experience love', because God has already shown His love by giving the best He had, opening the door to eternal life. And He has enabled me to love others with His love.
And I believe that I can have eternal life now, I don't have to wait for heaven to do that either. I have a life which exists independently of my physical body, so it is a matter of relative unimportance to me whether I am in the physical body or in the spiritual body which those who go to heaven receive - which bears the same relationship to my physical body as an oak tree does to an acorn.

Well, seeing as God did create us to have a relationship with Him - the answer is very basic. But if God wanted to use me in His power to preach unto the lost/unsaved then I'd be all for it.

Hard question as I would love to be Home in eternity with Him but then I have 2 young sons who I feel I have a God given duty towards so this is indeed tough. But if He were indeed calling me home I would go. One does not deny God.

Anyone who says now is selfish. Think of what your friends and family would think if you suddenly died at your age. How much pain that would cause, and the loss they would feel, all so that you could go to heaven a few years earlier.
To hell with everyone else though, right? All that matters is myself and my own soul, right?

If God came to me in person and proved he was God I would tell him that before I can love him and be loved by him he must first end the oppression and tyranny caused by those whom believe in him.

I'd join him now. I can't wait to see how my life turns out. What if I die a horrible death? I guess I'm a little selfish. Oh well.

We are photons that have amassed in a form capable of consciousness and possessing senses so that whatever "everything everywhere" (God) that we are a part of may perceice itself. I think it would be kinda up to God.

these are one of god's trick questions..so i would say i would continue my life and see what becomes of it because it was god who gave me my life and i dont think he would want me to finish my life so early. and i wouldnt worry about my decision because one day or another we will meet god again when we leave this world...

Let me get this straight -- you are hearing voices and using those imaginary voices as a basis for life and death decisions. Get on an anti-psychotic first then see me in about 4 weeks. Then we'll talk.
