Well one of my employees has used them all,
Headache, sore throat, ear infection, upset tummy, Sore leg, sore ribs, Hurt his thumb, Stumped his toe, Eye infection, Diarrhea, Death in the family, Back ache, Car broken down, Car won't start, Couldn't sleep last night. do i need to carry on. He is a full blown hypochondriac and yes he still works for me. Anyone need a job

Good Morning. - The above answers are great. The only one I would have to add - Toothache. In my opinion, no-one questions a toothache much either.

Ps. Not my opinion, fact - It is bad JuJu to use Death for an excuse of not going into work or for any occasion - When it has not really occurred.

This is why we don't offer sick time at my company - people take WAY too much advantage of it and screw it up for everyone else. If you want a day off, take a day off!

i tell my boss all the time that i am sick or death in family like grandpa which died a few years before and she believe me you would think after a while she would catch on but she doesnt hey and i am not lying he did pass on.

GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!


no question ask... your boss will say

"OK GO AHEAD TAKE YOUR THINGS WITH YOU"

and then you can have a day off..

Death in the family . Just say Grandma Edna died and you had to be there to hold Aunt Franies hand . But do it with a tear in your eye ( use visine).
