I have lived in both worlds, and I have this theory to offer you: In the west, people believe that interpersonal differences are a sign that the relationship is flawed, and they will try to free themselves of it and go off again in search of "the perfect one"; in non-western societies (I know India best), there is a stronger acceptance of interpersonal differences, and people are trying to "make it work". So, in the west, we see differences and think "trouble, get the hell out of it", while in India, people see differences and think "challenge - how can we make this work despite of it?" Westerners are throw-away people. We discard what doesn't thrill us any longer, and we believe that there is more promise in new things. I'd say both stances are extreme, and both produce suffering, one because of the consequences of breakup, the other because of the pressures of confinement. I hope to have answered your question?

Because in the west, we expect..even demand happiness. This is a luxury not shared by most of the rest of the world, past and present. Other than stability for the children, what is gained by staying in a marriage that makes either miserable? There are no answers to this that make reasonable sense or aren't tied to religion.
Short answer - It's called freedom.

There are more freedom to attain divorce in the west than east. In some countries, people treat divorce as a criminal act or something weird.

GOOD QUESTION!
their arguments " get to know ladies before they marry" is
an excuse to enjoy before marriage, for WEST women is just a sex toy to enjoy they dont consider them as human being!!
more pathetic is that women talking about women liberalism encourage sex before marriage, that show they want to be a toy for men

because most people are morons and cant decipher between lust and love.
Not only that, but they cant see through their blind love to see if the person is actually someone they like and could spend the rest of their lives with.
