I picture God as a loving, forgiving, compassionate Father. I do not see Him has angry, vengeful, or judging. This is not to say He is incapable of what must be done mind you. This is just how I see Him and identify with Him. I have only felt His mercy in this life. How do you identify with Him and see Him?

Now see we Christians believe we are adopted sons and daughters and we are to call God Abba, which is like saying Daddy.

At first I thought you were asking about what God looks like, but after reading it further, I realize that you are talking about attributes.
I think of God as incredibly wise first of all. He realized a long time ago it was better to allow people the right to choose or not choose him. That way, people serve him because they choose to do so. He also is a loving God because he gives us a way to be with him for eternity through acceptance of His son's death, burial and resurrection as our payment for our sins. How many other Gods would allow their only son to be sacrificed this way?

First you should not pictue him as a father cause it brings an earthly figure to your head which is wrong god is all mighty he cannot be compared to anything in this world if he is then he cannot be god .. he is everything good !! & Nothing Bad !!

I picture Him as a wise, caring, loving, person, that, though He does not wish too, will punish wrongdoers for what they have earned.

I think he is a loving God. There are plenty of examples where he shows his wrath and anger though.

i think of Allah as the greatest.. the alpha n the omega.... the most forgiving , the most powerful,.... the most beneficent.. n also that he can give the severest of punishments (n this is what makes me do rigth things bcuz i fear his punishments but i also live in hope cuz i beleive in His mercy!:))

But I see in churches God with a beard like Santa - similar to Zuse. I donno - I am utterly confused ?

debra, debra, debra, u say that god is a he, a father, but u do not know this. u see god is a supreme force, it is neither male or female. u seem to me to picture god as a father, with long white hair and beard.
