Ok it starts :
20 Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded [a] to plant a vineyard. 21 When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. 22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside. 23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness.

Then it just goes right to:
24 When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, 25 he said,
"Cursed be Canaan!
The lowest of slaves
will he be to his brothers." --------------

What did Ham do? it looks like all he did was went outside and told his brothers "hey, dad's naked and drunk in the tent hahaha" - and what does Ham's son Canaan have to do with it? why does he have to be a slave because of it??

a lot of people want religion back in school, they want our teachers to teach creationism in place of or alongside evolution. what about the many people who don't believe in creationism?

and wouldn't that be forcing your religion onto others?

i know a lot of people are going to say teaching evolution is against what they believe too but remember, evolution is not a part of religious faith.

am I too emotional and clingy? it seems like every time I get close to some one romantically, he backs off and doesn't like me anymore. am I clingy and emotionally unstable just because I devote a lot of time and energy and heart to "my guys"? I'll admit that I am thin-skinned with insults and take a lot of things personally and that I am very loyal, and I expect loyalty in return.
I can't really find an explanation for why I seem to be the "gay man's Teflon"- no relationship seems to "stick". advice, perspectives, experience?

A lot of the Latinos have been waving their flags in Black peoples faces(around where I live) and telling some of us that "Latinos do it better" What do you do better? No race or person is better than the last. Why do some of them have to brag about their culture to so many African Americans and then they put a lot of us down.

There seems to be a lot of negative sentiment.

Whatever your opinion, could you please go on to answer the following.

1) What do you think the most difficult aspect of teaching would be?

2) What is the most important thing that kids should learn at school?

3) Have you considered being a teacher? Why or why not.

Any further insight would be much appreciated, I am currently studying to be a teacher.

My fellows! You have doubtless seen here clear and convincing evidence that very few christians herein have any clue as what science is about.

Obviously, this does not bode well for the future of our nation. A nation of scientifically "illiterate" adults will not long prosper and, as witnessed here, will sink into a habitual mediocrity of thought.

What happened! America used to produce the western worlds best scientists.

Is this dumbing down of the populace the result of a faulty school system, curriculum and otherwise?

Or is this thinking the kind of mush that passes for"science" in the public schools these days?

.
Thank you for your help.

Our church is pretty small (about 70 on Sunday Mornings). Our resources are few, but we want desperately to meet the food needs of our community. Any helpful hints would be great!
