Our church is pretty small (about 70 on Sunday Mornings). Our resources are few, but we want desperately to meet the food needs of our community. Any helpful hints would be great!

Call your local paper see if they will run a free ad for you. Most papers will do that if your a non-profit organization.Call other local Church's that do not have any programs themselves. Most people are willing to donate food and other things they just do not know where.Contact all the local restaurants and other food places a lot of time they will donate food also.Ask your local grocery store if you can put a food donation box by there door.A lot of people will help out if you ask.Good Luck!

Here is a good example. They coordinate with the United Way. Also try Second Harvest.
