depends on the definition of racism. If i complain about immigration or get cheesed off at african americans ranting on about slavery - is that racism. I would never dream of insulting or discriminating against someone SOLELY on the basis of race, and in day to day conversation i chat away and in all honesty dont even pay attention to colour. Its like talking to someone with glasses - i see the person no t the specs. I am a student and have a wide mix of people I talk to from teenagers to mature students (I am a mature student), to lecturers I have made friends with, to folk on very low incomes, people who are english, and people who are scottish. Whether a fellow scot has white, brown or black skin - i dont give a crap - if they have a scottish accent i can talk to them!! lol!! Cos i'll understand them !!
But I do get pissed off at pretending to be a victim of slavery 200 years later when a black woman is secretary of state. Get a grip.

Not at heart, but I do have to keep questioning my prejudices all the time - what with all the racial tension that seems to be building at the moment.
I can't stand racist behaviour, but every so often - when I'm frustrated with the world - those awful immature thoughts come back.
I had a conversation about this a while back and, tough as it was to admit, I realised I had grown up hating my own ethnic heritage and at the same time being suspicious of the white population I grew up with: strange, huh? Although, these feelings were under the surface and never led to anything major.
I've happily matured and have friends of many religions and race.

No - some of the nicest and kindest people I have know have been black or Asian, but I do object to unlawful migration of people in to what is already a country that is struggling to stay afloat. I guess I can also object to foreign nationals that moan and groan or threaten the system, especially when this country is supporting and financing them! If they don't like it, they can leave?
Otherwise, NOPE, I love the interesting mix of cultures of a cosmopolitan existance. Its ignorance that creats racists.

Everyone is thinking of colour, but your question could actually cover a wide circle. (don't know what the right word is, so circle will have to do).
Yes, in that sense I can be racist.

I reckon everyone is slightly racist, whether intentional or not.
I blame the subtle & subliminal signals from media/politicians etc.
