HELL NO. They are usually just some uneducated loser who is supporting 5 or 6 bastard children.

Yes, no question. As well as anyone else who bothers to say "hello" or smile at you this day and age.

Might I point out that in order to snub the greeter at Wal-Mart, you must be shopping at Wal-Mart… (try to stay with me on this one) so, it's not like you're running into them at the Beverly-Wilshire or Saks… if you need to go to Wal-Mart to snub someone, how pathetic is that?

By the way, it is NOT his or her "job" to be treated rudely. That is never in anyone's job description.

If you must to go to Wal-Mart, you should give the greeter the most flamboyant hello you can.

If you don't, that just gives Wal-Mart another excuse to devalue an employee, fire them, and pocket their earnings so a Walton gan have an extra shot of whisky at the end of their day.

Its impolite but hardley a big deal. The highlight of their day is when someone actually talks to them. If you are in so much of a hurry you cant say hi I wouldnt lose sleep over it but if you are just being rude then what is the point really. I would recommend sucking it up and trying to make a strangers day better because the karma can come back to you in life.

If you go to Wal - Mart say hello to the greeter. She/he is only doing their job and they don't mean to pester you and you will make someone's day by doing it. I try to always be polite to people if I can. It costs nothing and it can give a lot of pleasure.

No. Part of their job training is how to be snubbed, how to like being snubbed and how to join snub clubs to share experiences of being snubbed.

I think its very rude to snub anyone thats directly speaking to you or even if its just a smile. If anyone acknowledges you in a friendly matter then acknowledge them back..
