I just find people who are rude insulting, period. There are quite a few people here who do not believe in the same thing as I do, yet they are respectful in asking and answering questions. As a Christian, I think it's sad that there are people who think I don't have any fun. Also as such, it disturbs me to see others who claim to be Christians act completely opposite. There are a lot of rude 'Christians' here as well.

I find nothing insulting to my belief, Islam. However, if every Muslim Man or Woman practices their religion they don't find anything insulting about it. Same if the person is Jewish, Christian, etc. they don't find anything insulting. Anyway, i find some thing insulting such as the terrorism and fascism that is happening and using my religion for violence. Also, other Islamic sects like Shiites which I find some things insulting. I am not rascist or a hater but if you grew up with beliefs that your parents, etc. taught you, you won't know it is insulting. I feel spirituallity and peace when I practice Islam. Peace, dear brother. (If I am mistaken, sorry).

I'm a little insulted when people tell me that if I were to read the Bible I would realize the error of my ways. Well, I've read the bible and a whole lot of other books. There is nothing wrong with learning about other paths, except that when you learn about other paths you may just realize that the path you've been led blithely along your whole life, isn't for you after all.
Knowledge is power.

I don't know if "insulting" is the right word. What I find *frustrating* is people who are willfully ignorant and would rather believe a lie than actually learn something about religions other than their own.
Knowledge is not harmful.

ooohhh..I agree with Tirya. I find it frustrating when Christians and people of other religions can't bear to think that some of their beliefs might be untrue. I also don't understand the fear that God will get angry and send us to hell. If God is perfect, how is he going to become angry? And if we are God's children, he would never send us to hell for simply having an incorrect idea. I was raised in a Christian home and attended a Lutheran school as a child. I have never been able to accept the concept of fear in religion.

Only the ignorant need to believe. For those who know, there is no need to believe. For instance, I don't need to believe that the light in my bedroom is ON. I have eyes to see that. One who does not have eyes needs to believe in that. That's the case with everything. Therefore, those whose action springs from beliefs, are blind and brainwashed. People can kill and be killed for their beliefs, which is stupid, and such stupid people populate this world wholly and completely creating all the mess we live in. They believe in god, religion and the holy books, the number one cause for wars in this world. When one is of violent nature, anything can be insulting and cause for more violence.

The fact that if your religion does not consist of either Christianity, Judaism, or Islam---you are EVIL.
