I was wondering if it goes back to the days of slavery when they were brought over here by boat. Similar to how a herding dog just knows what to do by instinct, maybe it's black intuition. The other possibility is that water is associated with showering, which most blacks don't do regularly. Any help I could get with this would be greatly appreciated.

“Lo I walked down to my local deli and decreed “I am Jesus and I am here for some thinly sliced pastrami” and lo the clerk did say “But Jesus, we are all out of that particular luncheon meat, perhaps can I get you another?” I replied “Yes my child, some bologna would do just fine” and thou shalt always remember my order” – Letter from Francis to the Ecclesiasticans, Psalm 13:5

Don't you just love it when you eat one of your favorite foods and you just relish every single bite. How many of you love cheesecake? I mean really, really good cheesecake? Isn't it awesome to just savor that awesome cheese flavor with the slightly crunchy crust? Or, who besides me could eat green chile chicken enchiladas everyday of the week? What an awesome gift God gave us letting us have the sense of taste! Or what about color? What is your favorite color? Mine is red, but I also love blue and purple. Imagine if all we could see was black and white. Think of all the joy we get in watching a sunset, or looking at a pretty painting. When was the last time you stopped and smelled a flower blossom? How about when a whole orchard of citrus trees are blossoming? The whole area is filled with such an intoxicating, lovely smell! Our Creator must really love us, and really want us to enjoy this awesome gift of life to give us so many wonderful things! "Praise Jah you people"

Yes? No? It doesn't matter what you say-----He is the savior. And nothing anyone will ever say or do will change that fact.

Do you think that when people are younger (late teens & early twenties), they have stronger moral values and beliefs, but as people age they realise that life is more 'shades of grey' than 'black and white'?

Christians try to prove the existence of God and then try to say that
the proof implies the truth of Christianity. But, is the concept of God
a monopoly of Christians???

"And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain." (Deuteronomy 2:34)

"And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Hesbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city. But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities we took for a prey to ourselves." (Deuteronomy 3:6-7)
Such words helped give justification to mediaeval Crusaders who slaughtered men, women and children along their way to Jerusalem and stole the spoils of the cities. Even today, many Christian military men use Scripture to justify their actions. If any soldier harbors doubt about killing his fellow humans, he need only consult a military chaplain or read the Bible to calm their worries. Even George Bush (the First), with Billy Graham beside him, proclaimed the Gulf War as "moral." George Bush (the Second) continued in his father's steps by killing thousands of Iraqi civilians

I have visited the Harimandir Sahib temple in India, Wat Mahathat temple in Thailand and Churches around the world. I love the architecture and spiritual significance of these buildings. I have never been to the middle east but would like to go sometime.
If not Mecca in Saudi Arabia which other buildings should I visit.

Find a busy interstate, and run across it, knowing that God has a plan for you and wouldn't possibly take you unless it really was your time, of which you should be happy anyways.

P.S. If you really do this, the world is better off without you, because you're an idiot. This is to prove a point only.

"And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch." (Genesis 4:17)

What wife? At that time only Adam & Eve, Cain and Abel existed on the Earth. The only possibility comes from, either a grave omission from the Bible, or his mother Eve served as his wife. The second possibility would mean incest.

After Cain killed his brother, God protected him by setting "a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him." (verse 14). Considering the earth supposedly had only Adam's family, who should kill him? And what kind of mark could have protected Cain? From the absurdity of this story, it should not surprise why anyone would read into it what they wanted. Certain inane beliefs resulted such as the common belief that the "mark of Cain" meant the dark skin of the "*****" race.

In her current "Confessions" tour Madonna wears a crown of thorns upon her head and sings songs while hanging on a glittery cross.

She resently held a concert in Rome, Italy, just a few miles away from the Vatican. A spokesman for the Vatican announced that she should be excommunicated for blasphemy.

Even in years passed she has mocked Catholism and/or Christianity by profaining Mary, mother of Jesus and making out with a black Jesus.

Catholic or Protestant, do you think Madonna has gone too far with her antics? Even non-Christian, do you think that she should be blantantly mocking Christianity? Your thoughts please.

In Acts 3:23, Peter claims that Deuteronomy 18:18-19 refers to Jesus, saying that those who refuse to follow him (all non-Christians) must be killed. So how many have believers killed today? If you haven't killed any, then you are not following the Bible as you should and are going to hell.

if you have not gone to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and asked one of the leaders/teachers there you cannot say that you know these things about Mormons. I am a Mormon and have looked up Mormons and Mormonism on the web, just to see what came up. The majority of it was all lies. Even alot of the stuff you hear from "mormons" on the street is not true but rather people against Mormons trying to spread lies. We are NOT a cult. We havent practiced paligomy in about 100 years. We don't worship satan. We DO believe in God the Eternal Father, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy ghost. That Jesus dies for our sins and will live again. If you have Q on what we believe go to lds.org, there is alot of info there. In that website you can search for the 13 articles of faith. They say alot of what we believe. It is not fair or right to spread what you dont know to be true about Mormons, or any religion. I don't and won't say anything about others. We are free to choose.
