Certainly they don't. The idea of gods and goddesses has been around since man started making guesses to try explain the world around him. There is no proof of god's existence, or, to be honest, non-existence. I just realize that you don't have to disprove ideas that are as silly as god to know they aren't true. That would be ridiculous.

No. The concept of god is a monopoly of theists. Because that's what the definition of theist is: concept of god. Well something like that. Athiest is "no concept of god" (as opposed to no "Concept of god" which would be more like the agnostics, who are undecided).
To prove christianity by proving the existence of god would have to demonstrate that god is exactly as described in the bible. However, proving the existence of god DOES prove at least the athiests wrong.

No, nor is monotheism peculiar to Christianity. Consider Judaism and Islam, for instance, as well as the ancient cult of Mithra. In many cases the ancient world's pantheons were splitting up into more insular cults of individual gods. The People of the Book merely continued the process to the present.

The concept of "God" is not unique to Christianity, but GOOD LUCK getting a Christian to understand that.

Some Christians would like to think so. Their God, however, was really one of the few men who taught and gained nothing.

Well christianity thinks so because they claim to have the one true deity but I'm sure there are a lot of other belief systems out there that would beg to differ.

Did you know they are coming out with a Monopoly that has a Visa debit card instead of money? It's shameful! Now kids really won't know how to count money!
