I have visited the Harimandir Sahib temple in India, Wat Mahathat temple in Thailand and Churches around the world. I love the architecture and spiritual significance of these buildings. I have never been to the middle east but would like to go sometime.
If not Mecca in Saudi Arabia which other buildings should I visit.

No,
because first of all you're not a Muslim-duh-
and second of all because you probably drink alcohol and your not considered "clean" I mean physically did you know that ALL Muslims and Arabs take water with them when they use the bathroom? They don't "wipe" dry like you do and also the men(Muslim men) don't stand up when they pee like you do (if you are a man-lol-)Arabs in general use a lot of water in the restroom.Going to mecca is something very sacred you have to be very clean even the Muslims there wear white when they go to mecca because white is the color of cleanness and purity.But I have heard many things about Pilgrims who came from mecca they say it gets so hot in the summer that they have air conditers under the ground because when you go there you have to be bare footed shoes are dirty so you can't wear shoes (when your are making the pilgrimage). And the grounds in mecca are super clean and clear and most of the writing of the walls is written with pure gold. But there are some places you can go to like turkey has really huge mosques and Syria or Iran-Isfahan- is beautiful you can do some research about the Arabic countries-on the net- before you go.
take a look at this pic;

Unfortunately, no.

I share your admiration of fine architecture, and it's a shame that Muslim extremists are so phobic of other religions that they would extend their intolerance to forbid God loving people from even entering Mecca.

There is a legend surrounding the black rock at the Kaaba in Mecca. It says the "sacred rock" (aka al-Hajaru l-Aswadit) was once white, but was turned black by the evil of non-Muslims who touched it and/or looked at it. This same black rock was once stolen by Iranian Shiites and broken, but was returned to Mecca and soldered back together. It seems they're being a bit overprotective, and understandably so.

Maybe in a hundred years or so, free-thinking tolerant Muslims will gain political control, and alllow non-Muslim tourists to visit Mecca. After all, before Mohammad came along, the Kaaba was a marketplace for the more than 350 idols worshipped by pagan Arabs...a tourist trap.

Peace!

No, 'fraid not!

NB
The holiest city for the Muslims is Makkah-tul-Mukarramah. It is not "Mecca". Saudi Arabia had officially changed the spelling of the name of this city to "Makkah" a few years ago after realising the derogatory usage of the word by the Western media and Western authors. Also, Madinah should rather be spelled as Madinah than being spelled as "medina".
