Now of course you can't do this so then where would you take him-would you call the cops-they're not your leader-would you phone the White House? Would you take him to your Parents house-or would you boe down to him and say "I now realize that there is no leader but you"! So here is my point Christians-I am not an ALIEN I am a man born of this world and witness of these earthly things just as you are-TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER!

If a lesbian gets impregnated (artaficial) and you could decide if that child should grow up to be products of a gay home or aborted, what would you want? You can't take it away. You are a politician, and have the deciding vote on a bill that would not let gays have kids, and made them abort current ones would you go for it? You can't change the bill, it is down to you, yes or no? Gays are now the majority in america, and reelection is coming before you could make a less drastic bill. So it is now or never. Would you make them do it?

I'm currently dating someone that makes me very happy except he is a very angry person... and muslim? He is not Nation of Islam, but he hates the "white devils" and especially the "jews" or "jewish". He often says that all Isrealites should be wiped off the earth but when I say, "there are probably people over there just like Americans on the war on terror who do not agree with what their government is doing," but just tells me I am niave and that Jewish people are the devil. He tells me that it is good to Hate anything that is not good or cannot be made good with your own hands. He became irate when I said I don't hate the devil, he just has some personal issues. He says that Muslims believe that white is evil, and the whiter you are, eviler you are. Is this common or taught? Is this considered hate to the Muslim community or just a fact of life? Please tell me if there is some reference I can use that can make him see it is ok with God to be more loving and understanding :)

A few words that are automatically censored, such as, the "N" word and the three-letter word for rear-end, are quickly blackened out by using asterisks in their place. But the infamous "F" word runs rampant on this board among other sexually explicit words better left to their biological terms.

It seems to me this is a double-standard played by Yahoo!

Those people writing the New Testament had all read the Old Testament and knew what the prophecies were. If I made a prophecy today, how hard would it be for you tomorrow to write down a story that made that prophecy sound like it came true?

Those people wanted to make their point of view as believable as possible so they wrote stories that supported their side and said prophecies were fulfilled.

Isn't it ironic that anything any one race does or says about black people are automatically categorized as racist, yet, black people always talk stuff like that's white music or white people have no flow or latins speak funny and hindu's smell (sorry had to throw that in there) ... I AM 5'TALL FEMALE. IHAVE A MASTERS DEGREE AND CURRENTLY WORKING ON MY THESIS FOR MY DOCTORATE. I HAVE A JOB WHERE THE MALES ARE SEEN AS MORE CREDIBLE, GIVEN MORE PROFESSIONAL RESPECT THAN ME--WHO IS MORE COMPETENT AND QUALIFIED. I THINK IN GENERAL, SHORTER PEOPLE SEEM TO HAVE STRUGGLES W/CREDIBILITY. MY HEIGHTH AND MY APPEARANCE ALSO MAKES ME LOOK "YOUNGER" THAN i AM AND THAT HAS WORKED AGAINST ME, ESP WHEN I'M WORKING W/THOSE TWICE OLDER. I THINK AS HUMAN BEINGS, WE ALL DESERVE RESPECT, BUT I JUST THINK THAT IN THIS SOCIETY THERE ARE SO MANY NOTIONS SURROUNDING HEIGHTH AND PHYSICAL APPEARANCE--IT'S RIDICULOUS. I read this expression in news reports and editorials from time to time I'm wondering if the expression is a fair or valid one. Granted, there are some individuals who are "afraid" of homosexuals ("phobia") but I don't think that this describes all, or even a majority of people for whom this label is given. To be fair, I think there are VARIED perceived negative reactions to homosexuality: hate, fear, confusion, disgust, etc... and that fear is only a part of the negatively. That being said, is the term "homophobe" (specifically implying fear) an accurate term to use?

(And please don't read this question negatively. It isn't intended as such. I just read a number of op-eds and this term appears from time to time.)

Experimental results have proven that:

The fundamental constituent of nature is an all pervasive energy field

Matter is formed when consciousness acts on this energy field and the probability wave function is collapsed. Therefore consciousness did not arise from matter but existed before matter was formed

Everything in creation is fundamentally connected, nothing is separate from anything else

Every possibility exists simultaneously and what we actually experience as "reality" is co-created by the observer

So I ask, whose consciousness and energy forms reality if not God's? Isn't it logical to conclude that God is the "E" in E=mc2?
