Because I'm not digging anyone up.

What about Christians who were cremated by fire? (Not on purpose I mean.) How are their ashes going to ascend into heaven?

Off topic, except for the notion of the rapture, but anyhow.... Once the rapture comes, maybe sh!t'll get done around here.

Right now, the Evangelicals are in the White House, and they're setting the agenda. It's like when you're laying tile, and your retarded nephew is visiting, and you HAVE to let him do some tile, just to make him happy. Once his visit is over, and he leaves, you have to tear up everything he did and start over again because it's all ****** up and crooked.

The Evangelicals are like the retarded nephew. Once they're in heaven, earth will be so much more pleasant, but there'll be a lot of work to do to get everything back in shape again.

No, they are supposed to pop-up like daiseys. And the cremated ones will be very confused because when the creamatorium gives the ashes to the families, it is just a scoop or two from the pile under the people grill. It's a mix of probably several people's ashes. But, since god isn't real they don't have anything to worry about.

If we have to, we'll dig ourselves out. Might be a little smelly though. :O}

Shell makes a good point, there are many Christians that don't believe in the rapture. I, myself, consider it a possibility, as it is one interpretation of scripture, but God only knows how it will all play out. All I know is that Jesus is coming back one day, and He will come in Glory, not as a man.

Morganine-xo, Jaque H, CJunk, and morobell have good answers.

Pixie-elf- Clouds of dust! That's funny! I suppose it could happen that way.

Lucky Fokker, enjoy all the stuff! Hope it makes you happy!

Rapture is not in the bible and flys in the face of logic when you read Matthew 24:21,22
Then there will be great tribulation===
Unless those days were cut short no flesh would be saved alive.
Why would it matter if the chosen ones where already in heaven?
Revelation 7:9,10,14
These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation
Have to experience it to come out of it.
1Corinthians 15:50 flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
So the physical body is not what goes to heaven.

Since God spoke and created the universe, I don't think creating new bodies for people will be a problem for him.

Think about this too... after a body decomposes, parts of the body get recycled into the ground and then get put into fruits and vegetables, some of them get eaten by pregnant mothers who then make their babies out of them...

Molecules have been recycled to make up the phyiscal bodies of countless people... it isn't a 1 to 1 ratio. You are thinking very simplistically about this, God can create new bodies (as revelation says he will do - there will be a new heaven and a new earth...)

No, they'll rise up like ZOMBIES.

GRAAAAH! BRAAAINS!... :D Wouldn't that be awesome? XD

And cremated people will be clouds of dust I guess. XD I mean the ashes fit in like... a shoebox (my Grandmother was cremated... )

its the rapture of the living christians. the dead are already in heaven so they need to be raptured. when everyone gets resurrected they will be taken back to the place they were buried and stuff will happen.

Sounds like very good 'plot' material for Stephen King's next work.

Who gets all their stuff when the believers are taken?

All those cars with no drivers, houses with no occupants. I know some believers with some cool stuff, i should start hanging around their stuff so I get first crack at it.

very good question. No doubt alot of people, not mentioning names (christians) will call you stupid, silly, maybe even retarded for asking this question.
But it is really down to earth question.
I guess the answer will be God can do all things.
