Why is that we, as Americans, feel the need to label everybody? Look He's a Democrat! A Republican! He's a Liberal! A Comformist! A Facist! She's a Lesbian! A Hypocrite! A Fundamentalist! A Muslim! He's Black! That child has ADD! She's depressed! A B*itch! Ignorant! and on and on...
Are such labels necessary? ~young one~

If the purpose of this site is to ask questions about religion why are there so many people who claim to be non-believers or without religion posting and answering questions. Is it possible there is something missing in there life or do they have nothing better to do than rip on people who do believe.

How would you feel if a good friend didn't invite you out to celebrate their birthday? They did, however, invite all their other close friends and acquaintences. This is a friend you've known since childhood and is a friend you regularly hang out with. In the years you've known this person you've only been invited out once for their birthday. You're not the life of the party and you don't bring lots of singles with you whenver you hang out.

Every year you heard this friend had a party, but they tell you they "don't celebrate their birthday." Every year they tell you the party they were at was to celebrate the birthday of a friend of theirs, not their own. Oh yeah, this person lies and manipulates about other issues a lot.

An Atheist and a Believer were having a conversation that turned nasty. Both being fanatical morons it was suddenly pushed to the point of physical violence. Suddenly God jumped to cover the back of the believer at the same time that Evolution jumped to protect his atheist. The Universe decided that it had enough stupidity for on night, it imploded and squished them all

Since you know that Christianity is a myth and is a crutch people lean on to explain things they do not understand, why you post so many questions on yahoo! Answers, pertaining to Christianity? Why do you sound so angry? I think that Hercules is a myth, but you don't see me posting 3 million questions about him, condemning the ancient Greeks for believing that! So why do you?

I think that on the night of their bachelor/ette parties, they need to have one same sex experience, to make sure they are not gay before they get married. I've heard so many times from straight people "Oh, you just haven't met the right woman yet." Well, maybe straight guys just haven't met the right man, or straight women haven't met the right woman.

Below is a verse from the Holy Qur'an. I can see that it's very true... especially in light of the recent atrocities in Lebanon committed by the Israelis. They certainly are very violent and heartless. Good Christians would never resort to this type of violence, but instead exhaust the means of peace and resisting violence as much as possible. The Israeli army is obviously the axis of evil in this conflict and the US government is evil for supporting them. The blood of hundreds of innocent people are on the hands of these two evil governments. On the Day of Judgment, only God will give true justice.

Honestly, religion seems to be causing a lot of conflict in the world. People of colliding beliefs attacking each other over something that has been brainwashed into their heads seems very sad to me. There is nothing wrong with comforting yourself with visions of what may come after death as a bed time story but when we start supporting these 'guesses' with violence it just isn't right. The more I learn about history the more I begin to hate bible-toting religous finatics for the wounds they inflict on society. So can we please just stop supporting our guesses as facts and keep an open mind?
