Actually, it's not okay to talk about Satan in school, as Satan is an icon of the Christian Religion. In fact, Jesus, Satan and Christmas are all a part of the same religion. Halloween is not a part of the Christian religion. It's a popular misconception, but look at it like this... you get off of work and school for Christmas, but not Halloween.

Amen, my sister in the name of Jesus Christ!!! A lot of people do not realize Satan is liar, deceiver and has caused sinful effect on the earth since he and his demons were cast out of heaven.
Halloween is celebrated as a pagan holiday and a lot of people do not believe in the existence of Satan or hell. This politically correctness crap has gotten out hand!! First, the school prayer is outlawed,Ten Commandments cannot be displayed, schools frown upon the name of Jesus being mentioned and atheists petitioned the courts have the name of God to be taken off our currency. This world will regret when it gets wants when the church is raptured to heaven and the Antichrist takes over seven years.

Do you need an answer to that?
Look around, watch the news, read a newspaper.
Look at the decisions of the clowns of the 9th circus big top.
See what is going on in this country.
Now know this, that those who were strong for Satan in the beginning shell be here now.
To prepare the way for HIS coming.

Good question. Very good question. I guess it just shows how far man has fallen. God created all things, blesses us many many times in many many ways, even died for our salvation but we can't talk about it? How much sense does that make? It's like a persons mother giving her child a nice gift or an employer giving an employee a big raise and not thanking them for it. For whatever the reason, some people just don't want to give God credit. Maybe they feel they did it all on their own and don't need to give thanks for anything. Maybe they don't want to believe in a God that does good and would rather honor someone/something that stands for evil. Halloween can be fun fore kids but it needs to be in the right perspective.

Yeah the whole situation is ridiculous. Schools were started so children could learn to read and read the bible and for praise and prayer. Our country is so liberal so they are removing God from everything. Why is it ok to teach Evolution and Charles Darwin but if you say anything remotely close to God or the Gospel you are in trouble. I believe it's because these people are living sinful lives and they know what is going to happen. They know their lives are sinful and they don't repent and won't accept Jesus because they want to live for themselves. It's sad. One day they will have to stand trial and answer for everything they have ever done.

In the schools I'm aware of, the schools engage in 'fall festivals' and 'winter festivals', which are cover for Halloween and Christmas. They don't discuss God, Jesus, Satan, or Zeus though.

FYI, we didn't do Halloween OR Christmas. No one talks about Jesus OR Satan. As far as I know, no one talks about any of it. And that's just fine with me.
No religions in my son's school have precidence over any others. You can pray at school... silently. You can read your bible... on your own time. And so can each of the other religions. Stop being such Martyrs about your religion.

I think you should be able to talk about both. Halloween is evil, & the truth is christmas has nothing to do with the real Jesus Christ of the bible. Go do a study on christmas & you'll be surprized! I think both are wrong (halloween & christmas) but I beleive in freedom of speech & freedom of religion.

They talk about Satan in school? I doubt that. But assuming you're correct, it's probably because Satan is seen not as a religious character (which would be verboten) but as a mythical folk figure.

You should not have to feel like the only way you can be a Christian is in a closet. People have forgotten that in respecting other religions they are supposed to respect Chrsitianity. Instead it is so much easier to beat the christian with "thou shalt" and
"thou shalt nots", while letting other religions have a free for all...
