i just "converted" 2 christianity like a month ago. what am i supposed 2 do, exactly? besides believe in jesus and go 2 church?

i saw the movie and was touched by it, in a profound way that offers no words. my husband and i are not wealthy people, we get by with what we have. about three months after i saw it at home, i was at aldi's stocking up on my food stamp rations. ( we are off food stamps now, it was the hardest time in my life) a woman was ahead of me in line and her debit card didn't have the $20 she needed to purchase her food. i stood there thinking, "you have $400 dollars, offer to pay." it went by extrordinarily fast and i didn't offer. this has been my biggest regret of my life. i could'[ve mentioned the movie and created the beginning of my 'pay it forward." i will never pass up the opportunity again, despite how it presents itself.... my question is, do you have a moment like this, and did you do it, and if you didn't, will you next time. and everything in between.

Okay, I'm a black woman so this is not some racist ASKing the question. Did this start off as a regional thing with people from the south and then when many blacks moved to the north and all over the US they carried this pronunciation with them. I am just really curious because this pronunciation is pretty pervasive. I've noticed in other forums that blacks get pissed off when whites or others ASK them about this and look at the question coming from them as some kind of put down or ridicule. Truthfully for many of those ASKing the question it is a put down & racially motivated because they look for any reason to perpetuate the hate. For me, I would just like to know. My parents were adamant about how we pronounced words and would never have accepted or allowed us to say "AXE" when we meant "ASK." So, is it a matter of ignorance and under-education/under-exposure or is it a matter of people not caring? What is it and why is that pronunciation so difficult and such a sensitive issu

Ive noticed that recently.
Why cant we let people believe what they want?
Religion makes you have faith in something. Id rather die a believer and find out there is no god, than living a nonbeliever and finding out that there is a god.

It seems to me, from the people that I've met, that artists and more creative, open-minded people are less likely to believe in god. Maybe it is just coincidence but from the people I've met that is very one-sided. I have always been a strong believer in christianity but this makes me wonder. Does any1 else notice this?

should i add "to" when i use "help" in a sentence? i mean sometimes i hear people say "..... help me to (a verb)...." but sometimes i also hear people say "...... help me (a verb)..."? which one is right? thanks.

Oh, so you Atheists are trying to push your believes on Christians! You tell us that we are stupid, and brainwashed. That we make excuses for staying so ignorant. The SAME EXACT thing you say Christians do to other people. The EXACT SAME thing you hate the most! WOW, you really know how to make a point... (but because you are so intellectually superior, that was probably your point all along!)

Is your hope that all 2 billion Christians wake up tommorrow and say "What the h*ll was I thinking??? Where is that fireplace so I can burn my Bible?"
Finally, why do you try to insult us when answering questions about Christianity? It just adds fuel to the fire (no pun intended) You pepper your answers with insults and put downs. WHY? Can you not answer a question without reverting to the 2nd grade? (see that wasn't very nice, nor was it called for)

Where did she come from?.. The bible states that when Cain tried to hide from God, God put upon him the mark of a murderer and banished him to another land that is where he took a wife..I thought Adam and Eve, Cain and Able were the only 4 people on the earth???
