My boyfriend speaks English, but his native tongue is French. I don't think his mother likes me because, I do not speak French. She dose not speak English. I want to talk to her, but how? I don’t want to go through my boyfriend to speak to her. Some things should be left between the two with a misunderstanding. If you know what I mean. Can anyone recommend a good web site with an English to French translator? So I can type in what I want to say to her, have it converted to French, to write to her, so she will be able to understand what I am trying to tell her?

I think that God left his "imprint" on our hearts just like an artist signs his work. The reason being is that if we are only natural unperfect creatures..then how did we get the idea of spirituality and a perfect God--besides from God himself>

Everybody's seems to keep saying that christians are shoving things down your throat.The best way I can describe what we christians are doing is;it's similar to a shepard who trying to gather his sheep to put them in the stable.Those sheep that dont make it in have to brave the elements &other wild beast;while the ones in the stable have all the perks of food,water ect. People are like God's sheep;were his creations.And he wants us all to make it into heaven,but to get into Gods stable you have to accept Christ.So yes God's going to be persistent through people till all his sheep make it into the stable.That's one thing that people dont understand\appriciate,is that God works through people.In one case he used a donkey\***.Learn to understand that yes,yes God is using people,spirit-filled men and women of God to get to those that are still lost,that havent yet made it into the stable of God.Again yes.Yes if God is persistant in getting you to come;then so will men and women of God be.

but if I go to my Presbyterian church's "contemporary service" (I had to once because of a flight (I had to get to the airport so I couldn't go to the later, traditional service and OBVIOUSLY wasn't going to skip church the same day I was flying))---- but seriously, standing the whole time, and attempting to sing obscure songs off a PowerPoint presentation made me feel like I hadn't even been to church! And I noticed that nobody's really singing since people don't know the songs! Unlike the really really traditional beautiful hymns.... Are there other 'young' people out there who still really really love the oldies but goodies --- traditional hymns? Why are we so in the minority now???? It makes no sense to me... Are there any other people out there my age that almost go there just to sing those old hymns?
