I was wondering can anyone tell me if the ancient Britons were a Celtic race? When i say ancient Britons I mean the people that populated England, Wales and to a lesser extent scotland when the Angles and the Saxons invaded.

Do you think it's okay to kill an unborn child, although it was your mistake and it's technically murder?

I don't think I would ever be able to do such a thing!

What's easier to believe: that everything came into existence by itself or that it's the result of a Supreme Creator?

Creationists always ask this question yet always treat this question like it's rhetorical, but I see it as a perfectly genuine question. After all, _why_ is the second one easier to believe than the first one?

I know the perfect way to end all of the world's problem's. I don't like the idea but at least I'm thinking. Every human being in the planet should join up into one huge crowd. The largest crowd there ever was. Then a dozen planes armed with nukes should fly and drop the bombs while also jumping out of the planes to there deaths. The bombs would kill everyone and no human being would be left to create and impose murder, racism, hatred, or anything else that is wrong. Everyone would now be dead including me.

Just a thought. I don't like thinking like this.

It seems ironic to me - Christians are not flying planes into buildings, rioting and killing over cartoons, and treating women like chattel.

Yet so many here seem preoccupied with denigrating Christians generally.

Many conservative Christians are using the political process in the US to make changes to abortion law, and prevent same-sex marriage, but we can debate that civilly, and we are. There have been a small number of violent acts, which have been condemned. I don't ermember riots and killings when an artist displayed a crucifix in a jar of urine.

Seems to me like radical Islam - not all Islam - is a much bigger threat.

Just some food for thought. Flame away!

Have a nice day.

The African-American pot washer was listening to his blues once in 1996 when I was working at Hershey Hall in UCLA. The song he was listening to said, "...I got the mojo blues..." etc., etc. I remembered back home in Fresno County I used to eat Mojo potatoes with melted nacho cheese, but this was obviously a completely new use of the word. Actually, I'd heard it many times before, usually in blues songs, but I'd never actually asked anyone what it meant. I just figured it meant something like "a lot" or "heavy," as in, "I've got the heavy blues" tonight.

Anyway, so I asked the pot washer, "What's a mojo?" and he had this delayed reaction, where he just stopped scrubbing what he was scrubbing, and without turning around to face me, tilted his head back toward the ceiling and opened his mouth: "Aaaaaa-haaa haaaaaa haaa-haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-ha ha ha-ha-ha-ha...!" He just laughed like that and never answered me, so I left.

So now, 10 years later, "What's a mojo?"

I had been taught that it was a world system, perhaps an economic system, but I am now convinced that it is America. Do other Christians have an opinion on this? A quick web search seems to indicate that I am not alone in this belief. It means that our days are numbered and ironically, the Muslim epithet of, "America, the great Satan" is actually fairly accurate at this stage.

Not really a question, but I like this time of day when Australians, British, and even commoners like me (in northeastern US) are all on line.

Just saying hello. Also to South Africa, New Zealand and other English-speaking areas I have seen on here. The world is really getting smaller!

Where are you?

Have a great day/night!
