in the US there are so many from the northeast, southern twang, west coast ,jersey, boston, midwest etc...
many people in the US just assume the english as having one whole accent.
I can easily tell apart the english, irish ,scottish ,australian
accents.how many english are there? do you sometimes maybe mock a different regional dialect in a way that would be lost on an american?

I am 37, dating a divorced 37 yr old man from India. I already know that he is Hindu, (not Muslim) and he has been in the U.S. for 6 years. Does anyone know about how Indian men view American women, and/or any traditions or attitudes I should be aware of while dating him? I really like him and would appreciate any information you may have related to this. :)

This question isn't intended as an antagonism or an attack on anyone's beliefs. Rather, I am curious as to how religion can repudiate, cogently, such overwhelming evidenciary support for evolution.

Everybody on earth dies and goes to heaven. God comes and says, "I want the men to make two lines. One line for the men that dominated their women on earth and the other line for the men that were dominated by their women. Also, I want all the women to go with St. Peter."
With that said and done, the next time God looked, the women are gone and there are two lines. The line of the men that were dominated by their women was 100 miles long, and in the line of men that dominated their women, there was only one man.
God got mad and said, "You men should be ashamed of yourselves. I created, you in my image and you were all whipped by your mates. Look at the only, one of my sons that stood up and made me proud. Learn from him! Tell them my son, how did you manage to be the only one in this line?"
And the man replied, "I don't know, my wife told me to stand here."
haha its a joke i'm not in a serious mood tonight

I believe aliens exist because of the simple fact there are different planets, and there is no possible way out of all of the planets we are the only living life forms.Do you think the aliens are smarter then humans? I think so! they know how to build machines to come to our planet but we don't know how to get to theirs. They know we will panic and start war if we knew of them, so they keep their distance and stay hidden.what is your opinion?

I'm not trying to sound mean or disrespectful, this is a serious question. If someone finds out that they are turned on by the same sex and not the opposite, but if they try to keep those feelings from turning into actions, can they still go to heaven because they tried to be good?

For the Ark to be true, it was made of wood because that was what they had at the time. For the flood to be true, much of the lands were covered with water. If you know a small amount of physics, there is a property of waves known as “Reach”. It means that if there is no land to absorb a wave’s energy that it will continue to build and get stronger (to a point). If the earth were encased in a flood, then the wave energy would be astounding. So how can a 600-year-old man keep a wooden boat that is over a mile long afloat in a raging sea? Do you still believe in the Ark? If so, help me think otherwise as I think it is impossible. BTW, I also think that divine intervention is a cop-out answer.

If we swore using "Mohammed" we probably have Muslims upset, have your own personal Al quida on your doostep.
If we swore by saying "Buddha" we would offend a lot of people.

How come Christians have to hear the name of Jesus profaned.

If I hear it from someone I pray for them. That they will someday call on the name of Jesus for salvation and repent.

The cosmic enemy of God - Satan - hates Jesus and he uses people as a tool to swear at Him. So if you like to use His name as a swear word remember you are just a tool.

I'm trying if the girl in this photo is a lady that I know (I have reason to believe that she really could be).
Do you think that the blonde girl on bottom on the bottom left is the same as the lady in the colour photo?

Here is the link to the old picture (with the Beatles):

Here is a current picture of the lady:

each one of us are different in our understanding and views. Why would a person from another country automatically make us evil? Some of us were born here...not chose to live here b/c we agree with the president and his stupid choices. Why would u assume we think any differently than u?
