It amazes me that people are so arrogant that they think that our planet is the only one with life. It would be a pretty poor God who limited Himself to only one planet. Yes, I believe that there is life on other planets. I also believe that some of that life is intelligent, meaning far more advanced than we are. (Are we really intelligent is quite another question). If so, then it is also possible that they could have discovered a way to travel between their world and this one. Why don't they come forth? Ask an anthropologist why he doesn't immediately show himself to a more primitive society.

With the size and scale of the universe and the fact that most of the stars have a few planets orbiting them, the odds are very good there is other life in the universe. I wouldn't be surprise to find cultures way older than anything on Earth. Some aliens would be smarter than us, others may be nothing more than an bug. Any culture that had the technology to reach us would also understand that we aren't ready for contact yet, we haven't even evolved past killing each other and destroying ourselves.

I think it would be highly arrogant to think that in the whole universe, thousands upon thousands of galaxies, that earth is the only planet out of what I am sure is millions with the ability to support life. The universe is too big and we know too little about it to be able to say that we are alone. I also think there are many different aliens, from many different planets, and who knows, maybe they all hang out and have an intergalactic society. Someday, we may gain the knowledge and technology to find them and become part of it. I would like to see that happen. Hell I wish we could get to Mars, maybe people will see their is something else to look forward to other that who can blow up whom the most based on what God they worship. But as for now, we are a lowly species in my opinion in the grand scheme of the universe so we continue to see who can build the best weapon to kill each other instead of doing something progressive like space travel, or hell we could learn more about our own planet.

Whether they're more educated than us or still at the slime mold stage, I'm sure they have to exist--there are too many stars out there which may have planets around them which could support life for it to not exist. We're finding more and more "impossible" places where life exists here on Earth, like the sulphur springs in Yellowstone, so why not out there? We're light years away from the nearest star, and we've only been transmitting radio waves since the 1920's, so it may take some time before they even know we're here, and even longer to get here to check us out.

I think there are other lifeforms that exist "out there" somewhere. I do not however think they are bipedal and humanoid in appearance. What is the likelihood of beings developing millions or billions of miles away, and looking so similar to us? That shows how small our thinking is. Like in those flying saucer movies from the 50's; dress up an actor in silver and stick an antenna on his head, ooohhhhh! How different!
I don't buy it. I don't believe any "aliens" have made it to our planet, either. If they had the technology to get here, it's hard for me to think we could pose any threat to them. In nature, superior beings never resist their curiosity, with a desire to remain hidden. They interact, play with, or manipulate the inferior species (children playing with ants, cats toying with bugs, etc.) Why would "visitors" not make themselves known on a grand scale? Makes no sense to me.
Having said that, I think supernatural, or other dimensional beings probably exist also, but who knows what that could be about? Certainly not me.

I believe in life forms on other planets. It would be naive not to. You shouldn't assume that aliens are smarter than humans. You are only taking into account aliens that are astronauts and have been to this planet. There are probably other planets like ours whose inhabitants have not made contact with us or anyone else in any universe.
Additionally, they are not necessarily keeping their distance, many people are in contact with them and I would say there could be a fair number of them who are walking among us.

Yes I do believe in Aliens. Well at least their air craft..
I was down the beach when i was in Primary School and everyone was hanging around the fire. I went to the car to get a can of Lemonade I had to walk through the bush to get to the car park.
On the way back I heard a noise it sounded like a real cruisy motor and was smooth. I looked up and it had lights around it shaped like a Boomerang they where orange lights aroung the front. It slowed down and that's when I clicked my tourch off and hid behind a big Ghost Gum Tree. The Air craft just cruised on by & I sh@t myself. !!! I ran back and asked my dad if anyone seen it and of course no one seen it! I also asked if planes can slow down when it was already going pretty slow......
The only thing I can think of, maybe it could be one of those black Stealth planes??? if not it was an alien ship!!!!!

If one were to believe this universe, as vast as it is, is only occupied by Earthlings then one's vanity must be overwhelming. There are millions of planets out there! All empty with no intelligent life? Sure and the universe revolves around our galaxy and exists just for us also. I agree with you on this point.
Have they come here? The possibilities are infinite, but I don't see why they would. If they have the technology to get here we're but ants to them.

I think life on other planets certainly exists. I don't think that this galaxy (the milky way) is the end of all that there is. I think that if there is infinite things going smaller by cutting an atom in half then there must be something larger engulfing our galaxy, our universe even.

no and as for the other planets to sustain any form of life they have to have some form of atmosphere including a sun for heat to produce life. and the heavens have been searched for this place and it doesn't exist. the planets are much to cold to support any type of life form.and it would take several hundred years for a space alien to travel from its world to this world. where is it going to get fuel to do this? and when the aliens who start off traveling here get old and die who is going to replace them ? their kids. this is simply not plausible. just a fairy tale.
