Guilty as charged.
But this place is supposed to be about answering questions and if a person poses a critical question or uses rhetoric to support a point of view, then corrective criticism can be beneficial if it makes the point happen!
When someone put's forth Darwinism as if it's real and it's not as far as creation goes, it's an interesting concept, but it's never been proven in a lab over and over. I have to point that out. You can't take amino acids, put them in a jar, shake them up and make an amoeba! It just doesn't happen (yet). I also kid them about being a Monkey's Nephew. That's a good pictitorial criticism! Do they honestly want to go through life believing their great, great ancestors were monkies! It drive a point home!
There are people out there who actually belive this Darwin stuff -- all of it, not just the parts that have some credibitlity -- is the truth, whole truth and nothing but the truth and one day even Science may shoot it down!
Freud was the leader in creating modern Psychiatric practises, but he's considered bunk by the professionals today!
All of Freuds theories, some of which I find somewhat logical, are considered totally wrong!
So everyone who grew up believing in Freud was told a lie!
Freudian's still practise, but they are considered witch doctors by modern Psychologists and Psychiatrists.
Now that's highly critical!

In my opinion; people who criticize others usually have low self esteem; but if you are talking about your parents; well, that is their job to criticize you so you make the right choices.

Condition of the human mind... people often feel the need to put others down in order to raise themselves up. Too bad it doesn't work that way.

Those who criticize often have low self esteem and it's only by disrespecting others that they can feel better about themselves. How sad!

Because they are happiest when they do criticize others. It's the ones being criticized who are upset about it.

Jealousy plays a big role in critism of others. People arent happy with their own lives so because of jealousy they feel the need to cricize others.

Because criticizing others does not mean that you are not happy.
Some people like to express their opinion about things, and they are probably happy doing it.

Great Question.....INSECURITY....those kinds of people feel when they put others down that they are BETTER then them....When in truth their self esteem is lower than dirt and they are just making themselves look mean and disrespectful.

because what they ar criticizing you on is generally something they themselves need to work on!!! try it: when u tell your friend: you are too this and too that , deep inside you are all those "bad things" too. it is a self "protective mechanism" for insecure people
