"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." - Holy Bible, KJV

"Everybody must get stoned." - Bob Dylan

Joh 8:7 -
They continued asking him - They pressed the question upon him. They were determined to extort an answer from him, and showed a perseverance in evil which has been unhappily often imitated.
Is without sin - That is, without this particular sin; he who has not himself been guilty of this very crime - for in this place the connection evidently demands this meaning.
Let him first cast a stone at her - In the punishment by death, one of the witnesses threw the culprit from the scaffold, and the other threw the first stone, or rolled down a stone to crush him. See Deu_17:6-7. This was in order that the witness might feel his responsibility in giving evidence, as he was also to be the executioner. Jesus therefore put them to the test. Without pronouncing on her case, he directed them, if any of them were innocent, to perform the office of executioner. This was said, evidently, well knowing their guilt, and well knowing that no one would dare to do it.

Helps knowing the context and meaning of any teachings of Christ by considering the culture and comparing it to other teachings of the Bible. And yes, you can smoke anything you want, but there are consequences for every action, good and bad.

If Christians are telling you you shouldn't smoke I would hope that it is because they are thinking of your health and not to be judgmental and it is up to you and you alone.
But to lump all Christians into one category is like saying all women drive like hell, or all men are pigs. Now I know a lot of people think this way but isn't true and it is wrong. There is no one person that can judge others except God. I know you don't believe in god but Christians should know this.

Yes you can because God gave each of us free will. I guess some Christians are "preachy" because sometimes when people use their free will and then get in a lot of trouble for making bad choices, they run to Christians for prayer to get them out of the trouble they could have stayed out of by themselves if they'd just used their free will to make good choices.

When religion steps into the picture, that is what happens. The bible also says "remove the plank out of your own eye first so you can see clearly to help remove the speck from your brothers eye". Their are Christian's and then their are religious people. The bible calls those people pharisees and Sadducee's.

Yes, you are right, and I will respect your right to smoke whatever you like. And you must respect my right to call the police if I see you doing something illegal. I'm not anti=smoking, I smoke myself. But don't be a pain-in-the-*** smoker. Go to the designated areas. Don't make a mess, use the ashtrays. And stay away from the illegal stuff.

There was once a time when Priests and Ministers smoked!

Many drink coffee!

Some have a drink!

Monks live on beer sometimes!

Jesus and his disciples got drunk on wine!

Jews drink for all their celebrations!

Christians are not supposed to be judgemental!

Whoever said preachers are always right? You have to search for the truth and discern what God tells you in your own heart.

Sitting on my hands here, can't do it. Done some things myself when I was younger, but now I know better. Christens aren't saints sweetie. We're sinners that just keep on trying to do better.
