Like through meditation, drugs, whatever. I would like to hear your story. I will tell you my story if you wish to read it.

One day after work I had half a mull cake (marijuana) and then srove home. After about 15 min of driving, I was f**ked. I though there is no way I can go home and show my face cos I was of my head and my family would tell.
So I dicided just to drive around forever untill it got dark then I would go home and go straight to bed without seeeing anyone. Now I had been driving for about an hour and I was getting more and more stoned, I was a really strong cake.
Then suddenly my vision came really weired. While I was driving I could see every little speck of dirt and it's individual colour. My vision became more pixelated and a thousand times more clear than ever. My reality had deffinately changed to a higher one. It's pretty hard to explain but it was amazing but I'll never do it again.
I have exp lots of altered reality, not neccesarily though drugs.

Especially considering it was then translated into many languages before being changed into English. Perhaps Jesus wasnt quoted 100% accurately on everything - I mean I can hardly remember every single sentence that I said last week - let alone 10 years ago - let alone 100 years ago!

I inherited my Mothers 5 yrs old Bull terrier named Adam. I promised to care for it ,just as well as she had.That was three and a half years ago.
The problem is that my son is three and a half years old and he got ruff with Adam (pulled hard on his ears)Adam responded by nipping and my three and a half year old son pulled away (i think)and it tore his skin (no stitches need)
MY question is ......will this reck there relatonship?if it did ,what would i do?I promised my late mother i would look after Adam for his remaining years..IS there any danger to my son ?or the dog?
Note:I DONTleave them alone together,but my husband forgets sometimes......................

I know what it is like to be judged and ridiculed, to see people at the grocery store, resturants, or any public place and see the stares.
I am a BBW--(big beautiful woman)
I am what doctors and society call obese.

How did I get this way? could be many things---I was born very little and not much chance to live----so doctors gave me meds 2 help me gain weight---did that start it all? or was it the abuse and rapes as a child---and even now the fear of people looking at me as a sexual object---could that have been it? Does it matter----NO

My main concern is that people judge my action without even knowing me...I have heard the whispers when im out at a resturant and order salad---Saying yeah right shes just eating a salad in public and when she gets home she will go home and eat a bag of potato chips. Or when I do go out and order a Hamberger and people whispering she should have ordered a salad.

by the way my doctors say I am very healthy---not an issue

I've also seen some Protestants that not only reject all of the Old Testament, but they take it a step further and reject all of the Old Testament and all of the letters of the New Testament with the exeption of the gospels letters. Then others do that but in addition to that they also reject all of the gospels because they say that it wasn't written by Jesus. So what's left for them after that? They don't have any historical claim to apostalic teaching authority. They only claim that all they need is a "personal relationship with Jesus" they don't need anyone but themself and Jesus. But how can a single person be a Church unto themself? How can they know what Christianity is all about if they make themself into an island?

i'm still not clear on whether or not god IS jesus. christians seem to go back and forth on it.

if god is omnipotent,
and jesus is god,
then jesus is omnipotent. right?

so, when he was being nailed up to a cross, what were his reasons exactly for not just breaking away and leaving? was it just because he wanted to dehydrate to death (or whatever exactly) in order to "pay for our sins"? was jesus just playing along with the romans the whole time, and LETTING them kill him?

i'm not saying this is a contradiction or anything. i'm just curious to see where most christians stand on how omnipotent exactly jesus really was.

1. We dont need an imaginary skydaddy to feel secure

2. We dont need imaginary love to feel loved

3. We dont need a simple explanation for a complicated universe

4. We dont need to be intimidated(with the hell myth) into doing right because we will do right from simply being good people

5. We dont need to believe in an imaginary skydaddy to believe in ourselves

6, We dont need an imaginary after life to deal with death
