Do us Atheists have special abilities?

Question

1. We dont need an imaginary skydaddy to feel secure

2. We dont need imaginary love to feel loved

3. We dont need a simple explanation for a complicated universe

4. We dont need to be intimidated(with the hell myth) into doing right because we will do right from simply being good people

5. We dont need to believe in an imaginary skydaddy to believe in ourselves

6, We dont need an imaginary after life to deal with death

Me and the Atheists I know are just find without these things

Why do God believers need these things?

I wouldn't say I have special abilities. What I would say, is that I have recognized my abilities and the power that comes from within, that only I can tap into and make happen. Some people have a hard time doing that, and need to look at something outside themselves for their answers. I do not condemn that by thinking I have special abilities and they don't. I recognize that as, whatever works and gets the job done is good.

I am agnostic because nothing good has happened to me that I did not do for myself. When I left my life up to prayer, hope, and faith in all that happens because of some divine plan, I was miserable. If people can make the faith thing work in their life, then I applaud them. If you can't and you have found the strength within you, then I applaud you as well.

2. Your idea of Love I would imagine is not what most would call Love.

3. You have a wrong and disproved explanation of the Universe.

4. If you are a good person then at least you have that going for you!

5. Belief in ourselves comes from with in.

6. You will find out how "imaginary" the after life will be and you will pray it is your imagination!

Have educated Christians found truth in there findings Yes! You should start at the beginning and learn a few things before you state some of these comments. Your Religion has been proved wrong wake up before it is to late!

If you say you don't need an explanation for universe then what do you call the Big Bang myth (not theory... myth).

How can you say the love is imaginary if you have never even tried to experience it.

God believers actually believe the truth that you say is fake. We know our God is true. Stop mocking the way of the Christian. You aren't being a good person by asking us this or any of your other questions! We need those things because they are true so shut up. god created you and you betrayed him by not believing in him and he still loves the world and all the people in it!

Christians are good people (not all) because they live there life by the bible(part off)
Athiests are good becase WE chose to be, not because a book tells us, not because we think were going to heaven, not because we want to do good by god, but because we have morals, morals that WE chose!

we use our brain in logical thinking based on facts not based on feelings. if we know the truth we can't feel fear due to ignorance and confusion because we understood.
