Your definition of homophobe is slightly off. A homophobe is someone who is afraid of a homosexual. Usually this is due to their own uncertainty of their own sexuality. Since it is rather uncommon to find folks who are afraid of someone for being a heterosexual, there is little need for the term heterophobe.
You can of course argue that you have been called a homophobe and claim to have no fear of them, but then why do you care what they do to begin with if you do not fear something about them? Perhaps it is only a fear of them "undermining society" or some other equaly lame assumption.
Perhaps the name caller was really being a heterophile, abusing the masses? Then again, if they had really meant to be demeaning they probably would just call their target a breeder.

There's a difference between "doesn't agree" in the sense of "finding homosexuality morally wrong" and "doesn't agree" in the sense of "doesn't choose as a personal lifestyle".
A straight person who simply doesn't choose homosexuality because s/he isn't attracted to the same sex isn't a homophobe.
A homophobe is the catch-all word for someone who actually disapproves of homosexuality and/or homosexuals.
Today, the word "heterosexist" is used much more often than "homophobe" in academia to refer to people who don't fear homosexuals, but are prejudiced or discriminatory against them.

Gay people aren't trying to prevent straight people from marrying or adopting or anything else. They're not "afraid" of straight people. Gay people don't "disagree" with the straight lifestyle. They just love differently....that's all.

Call me crazy but I've never met a gay person who didn't agree with heteros. They don't care who you decide to sleep with and they don't understand why you care so much.
