because religions often contain disagreement which rolls and grows over time. the bible is a tool built by men believe to have the worth of being written by god. yet it's been translated in hundreds of languages!
The bible is a story book to some and a rule book to others and it pisses the story book believers off because the rule book believers feel the need to use it as a referance point in every day life.

all i say is matthew 7:1-2

The Bible doesn't fuel hate. Pride, especially "religious pride" fuels hate. And that fire is energized by the Devil and his seducing spirits that seek to destroy Christ's Kingdom work here on earth. Whether the people involved are "professing" Christians or some other religion like Islam or Judaism, the Devil loves nothing better than to turn people away from the message of God contained in the Bible and against one another.

1 John 2:4 Whoever says "I know him" but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may be sure that we are in him: 6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. 7 Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard. 8 At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. 9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 10 Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling. 11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

They don't. The Bible as a book does not fuel hate. People who interpret the Bible differently from other ppl might fuel hate.

The Bible itself doesn't. Its some of the people

Also yoru being one-sided. I could be asking the same question in the opposite direction. Like, Why does the Bibles inspire so much giving, charity, and love and why does it give many people a purpose in life.

Because moral values and religious beliefs are separate entities, and (gasp) can even be mutually exclusive. The fact is, religion often breeds fanaticism and violence, neither of which I would consider moral values. Yet such is often the effect when people become convinced that they are exercising the will of some divine being, e.g. the Holocaust, the Spanish Inquisition.

I don't think it's so much religion and the Bible, as it is with the people who try to shove their religion down the throats of others. I am a Lutheran (which is a Christian denomination), but believe that religion should be practiced at home and in church - and in doing good deeds, and helping others.

Fuel? The Bible is God's word - if you live the life of Satin then it make you angry to hear His Word. I do not get angry at all:

I don't think it's religion that fuels hate, its Christianity that fuels hate. For a Christian, the Bible is God's handbook for how he wants us to live. He gave us laws (not guidelines) on how He wants us to live. When that didn't work in the Old Testament, He sent His Son, Jesus, who also told us how to live. I think non-Christians don't want to be told how to live their lives. They want to be in control of their life and don't want to let go and let God control their lives. There are so many other "religions" out there that allows non-Christians to live the way they want to and they are accepted. This is called relativity. They want to live by their standards, not God's standards. They don't want to accept the fact that one day we will all be accountable for our actions before God. They call Christians intolerant, when Christians are merely following God's moral standards. We'll see who wins in the end....

It's because a lot of "religious" people don't know how to express their opinions without being overbearing or down right mean. People don't understand they can't argue their opinion to someone and get them to change their minds. ( I am Christian by the way and a lot of Christians are guilty of the very things I have just said)

Matthew chapter 10:34 "...I came not to send peace, but a sword.." Of course the followers of God and the followers of Satan are not going to agree. The "Christians" just need to be christian about their answers
