Yes. Last week a work, a guy came in, and told me he had like 30 minutes to pick his daughter up and that it would take like 45 minutes to get there. His car had broke down, and his brother was on the way to pick the guy up. He had enough money in the bank, but not enough to withdraw after he paid the $1.50 fee. All I had was $10 with me, so I gave it to him. I had also offered to call a tow truck for him from my own cell phone.

The guy looked at the manager and told her that our restarant was now his favorite place to eat because I had helped him so much!!

I had flowers delivered to a teacher at school on her last day. I had the card say "from your students, thanks mrs...." I knew that she was retiring because of health problems exacerbated by trying to teach adolescents who were not prepared, had severe discipline problems, no support from home and the teacher got none from school administrators. I didn't even know her that well but I admired how much effort she had extended in the belief that all children deserved the best education no matter how poor the district. She tried.

I was at the supermarket the other day. as i was walking in the parking lot i saw a set of car keys with a lexus logo on it. about five cars down there was the lexus. I returned the keys to the supermarket's service desk. back outside i put a note on the car's window that said. " Go to the service desk."

I went home but never found out if the service desk gave the owner his keys back.

My husband and I were in a bit of a rush to leave the mall parking lot a few Saturday's ago because our son (nearly two years old) was getting crabby... there was a young kid- about 17 years old- having problems starting his car. I told my husband we should give him a jump... because knowing if we were ever in that situation we'd appreciate the help from someone too. So we did... and he was very thankful for it. :o)

The other day I was at the gas station filling up my car and this woman approached me all upset said she was on her way home and she didn't have her wallet and her car needed gas--etc. etc. I filled up her tank for her. She wanted me to give her my address so she could repay me--I declined. I don't know whether or not she was telling me a true story, but she needed the gas either way, so she got it.

yes i brought the guys at my local fire station a tray of homemade mac and cheese. They were appreciative- adding that 'you gay guys are allright'. Next time I drop something off for those guys I think that I'll bring my wife and kids so they don't think that I'm hitting on them.
