I get asked at least once every other month. When I hit 40 in two months, I think I'll have to start hugging the clerks. Would that be /too/ friendly?

I'm helping a chinese girl with english, and after about 3 weeks of meeting on sundays.. she told me that if i want, she can introduce me to some of her japanese classmates. The reason she popped up this question is because i told her i study japanese and have studied it for some time but can't have any contact with japanese people since i don't know any or don't know where to meet them. So should i say yes? When she asked me i got shy and said "iii dont know.. if you want". I'm male 26. thanks

I just graduated from college in December of 05 and I am not happy with my career choice. Sometimes I blame my work environment sometimes I blame myself. I love doing what I do, I enjoy some dimensions of it, but deep down I hate it. I am 25 and I still question "who am I and what am I here for". Our neighbors, who recently had a baby with suspicious injuries, now have a sherrif sniffing around their house and asking who has phone #'s. Of course we had them, but said we didn't, even though we don't have any strong feelings for the neighbors. What would you do?

I walk home from work everyday.And I wonder if this is going to be my last day in one piece.There is this large (Cane corso) that wants to attack me for a second time.((Apparently the CANE CORSO is way more dangerous than a pitbull)) The first time I had to get 32 stitches in my leg.And where I live, a dog is allowed 3 strikes(before the dog can be seized)
It's not the dog fault,only the stupid owner.
At least 3 time's a week the dog is roaming free.And on one of his adventures,he all most killed a german shepard.I am soo scared that this 140 lbs dog is going to use it's last strike on me.
Any advice on what you would do,if you were me?.
I need to protect myself without seriously hurting the dog.....HELP
NOTE: every time I call the police ,the dog is already back in the house.And when question,they totally deny that the dog was loose.
The police always tell me it out of there hands.....with no proof...I need to act ..what if it attack s an Elderly person or child..any suggestions
