If you want to see fewer people go hungry then you can volunteer at a food pantry or soup kitchen. If you want to make sure poor people have enough clothing you can donate clothes to places like the Salvation Army. If you want to help people in third world countries become self-sufficient you could sponsor a child through organizations like Plan USA or Christian Children's Fund or volunteer for the Peace Corps. These are just some ways that you can be the change . . .

Well, it's like this. A Christian can be like Jesus and spread the gospel message and as other people hear and accept Jesus as their Savior and are born again by the Holy Spirit, they too will become more like Christ over time. And like a pebble that is dropped in a smooth pong of water the ripples will spread out in ever widening circles.
But the thing is, the whole world isn't going to change drastically until Jesus comes back again. There's a battle going on between the church of Christ and spiritual forces of wickedness. The battle surges back and forth and each generation God saves a remnant of people out of the earth to be with Him in Heaven.
So to answer your question, "Yes, a person can be the change they want to see in the world" but they can only make a difference in those areas where their behavior and attitudes can make and impact and hope that the process will be repeated through others.

Yes. If you want to change the world, you change yourself. Change begins one step at a time, one person at a time. See the Butterfly Effect or read anything by the Dalai Lama or Thich Nhat Hahn.

You can be the change by living the best life you can & helping others...change can start with a single person & spread just as easily as evil does...evil is just easier I guess I wouldn't know...I'm not an evil person.

Not if the change they want to see is world peace, because they are not the entire world, only individuals.
