I've been labelled a liberal bedwetter. I don't mind being called either, but I'd like to know the reason. Liberal indicates a viewpoint. usually the opposite of conservative.; But bedwetter really only inidcates a physical handicap.

Is the letter of the law the important thing or is the heart of the law the most important? Too many of us get caught up on the law and lose sight of the meaning behind it. Like how much should I give? How should I pray? and one of my favorites When and how often should I go to church? "The LAW demands little but LOVE demands much."
Peace Be With You,
Debra

Israel did not exist as a nation for almost 2000 years, since it was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans. And by the way, Jesus prophecied this destruction in Mathew 24 , YEARS before it happened!

I really don't like the word RANK..
When it is used to describe something that smells bad.
It always brings up a bad image in my head...

It seems that the belly button is just a scar left over from our umbilical cords, right? Since Adam was created from dirt, and Eve from his rib, they never had any womb time, or umbilical cords. So, they never had innies or outies..., right?

We Christians all have different denominations or styles if you like. None of us should be belittling the other or trying to discredit anothers beliefs. Don't you feel we are wasting our time arguing the letter of the law rather than on focussing on the heart of it?

My boyfriend & I have been together for 12 yrs. We have a son, & are still very much in love. However, in the past 2 months I met a girl that think I am in love with. I think about her all the time. When I am around her I just want to spend all the time talking to her & looking at her. I have told my boyfriend about my feelings & he is supportive. He has told me that if I am bisexsual there is nothing that I can do about it and that he is cool with it. Here's the problem. I don't know if she feels the same about me. There have been some subtle hints that make me think that she does but I just don't know. Secondly, not only do we work in the same place, but she is my subordinate, so things could get complicated. If I express my feelings & she does not share the same feelings, I could lose my job- sexual harrassment. Heck I could even lose my job if she feels the same & we develop a relationship & people find out. I have never felt this way about a woman before. What should I do?

This is a follow-up to another's question regarding the Second Commandment and Christians use of religious images. The general respose was that these images are not idols, so they do not break the Second Commandment.

So is the desecration/destruction of objects like the crucifix a sin? Are those who are iconoclasts - "image breakers" - who see these images to be wrong committing a wrong in destroying them?

I realize that it may be offensive to those who value the image, just as the burning of the flag may be offensive, but is it a sin? If so, how so?

**Please use a scriptural reference as your defense.**

OK,repeat after me :Common Ancestor! Let's try it again, just to make sure we have it all right.Ready?Common Ancestor! Very good! Now are you going to say a Persian cat is the same thing as a Leopard? No! 2 different species!! Is a horse a zebra? No!! Is a dachshund the same thing as a wolf? No!! Is a hamster the same thing as an otter? No!!I believe I have made my point!!!
There have been way too many evolution/monkey questions on here lately, and if this rant cuts down on even one more stupid monkey question, I will consider it a good days work! So,1 more time, can we say 'Common Ancestor'?

I have gone to several white churches lately and I'm home an hour earlier than my Baptist church and an hour to two hours earlier than a holiness church. I'm trying to find a church family.

When I knew him, he was way above average. After all these years, he must have just given up or lost all of his motivation, because now he's just average. I'll bet in a few more years he'll be well below average.
