OK,repeat after me :Common Ancestor! Let's try it again, just to make sure we have it all right.Ready?Common Ancestor! Very good! Now are you going to say a Persian cat is the same thing as a Leopard? No! 2 different species!! Is a horse a zebra? No!! Is a dachshund the same thing as a wolf? No!! Is a hamster the same thing as an otter? No!!I believe I have made my point!!!
There have been way too many evolution/monkey questions on here lately, and if this rant cuts down on even one more stupid monkey question, I will consider it a good days work! So,1 more time, can we say 'Common Ancestor'?

Common Ancestor. sounds good. Oh and did you see some of the latest from genetic studies - not only did humans and chimpanzees ancestors come from a common ancestor, even after they started differentiating in to two different lines they continued to have relations with their relations. It wasn't a sudden split but happened over a long time. Even now we aren't too far removed from our little chimp buddies - some have even suggested chimpanzees belong in the Homo genus instead of Pan.

ok... :)

While we are on this topic, it is relevant to note that ...

There is no evidence that proves Atheistic MacroEvolution (without Intelligent Design)...

I used to believe in Evolution. However, over a period of time I have grown skeptical of the claims of Macro*Evolution... this is largely due to the weakness of the evidence for Macro*Evolution, and the fact that the evidence, rationally interpreted does not support the overarching claims made by Macro*Evolutionists...

For scientific and intellectual critiques of evolution, see http://www.godsci.org/gsi/apol/evo/00.html .

Is Evolution a FACT? See http://www.godsci.org/gsi/apol/evo/evofaq2.html for relevant discussion.

Cordially,
John

Well two answers in and we already have a creationist liar saying that macroevolution (he calls it "atheist macroevolution" as if atheism has anything to do with actual science) doesn't happen.
The fact is sparky, macroevolution not only happens, it's been observed, on MANY occasions.

You will never, ever, ever, ever, ever reach a creationist. They are beyond redemption through reason. But that was a good try.

Bravo. Even if it is beyond their comprehension, they should at least get the naming conventions right.

We just brought home a ferret. Someone gave him to my daughter, and she decided she couldn't take care of him.
