Exodus 20:4 says "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below."

So even religious paintings and statues go against God's command right?

Whenever me and my boyfriend go out we also get stares and discrimative remarks. And a guy friend of mine has been dating a white woman and he gets hell from the whole neighborhood. It seems like no one wants two races to mix.Even in Hollywood.Heidi and Seal recieved hate mail, and I also heard Taye Diggs and his wife recived hate.

I hate it when people are bashing Roman Catholics. I am Catholic and very excepting. I want to be open and learn about others religions. So why do people feel the need to say that we are close minded and unexcepting. Shutup and get to know me. I have been to other masses and I have visited mosks and temples, and I would love to see more of other religions. When people say "When you want to learn the truth..." is such a load of B.S. GAA! Why do people say that Roman Catholics are ignorant. We are not. We are no longer an unexcepting religion, so why put us down.

As a Christian I have met other believers with very different views on capital punishment. So, which is right? Is capital punishment justice or judging? Should only God control life and death? Biblical support appreciated :)

I have a friend who says she wishes that the end of the world would occur so that she could be with Jesus. She is a very happy person, and loves life. When she says stuff like this though I can not help but think she is suicidal. Do you pray for the end of the world to occur soon?

Very often, I hear people suggest that French cuisine, French fashion, and French art are the best of their kind. French restaurants are often the most expensive, and many people see having a separate residence in France as a sign of high status (relative to having a separate residence in any other country).

What explains this? Why are "French" and "sophisticated" or "cultured" so closely entertwined, even now that France is no longer the world power it once was?

this question goes for all hispanics out there but other races can also participate too. many latinos in the U.S. are okay with this term "latino" to refer to their race,nationality or culture, but others do really find this term offensive and prefer to use the more appropiate term which is "hispanic". personally, i don't like the term "latino".

is tupid enough to label people into groups and still have the idea of popularity in his arrogant little head. Like seriously, he says he can get any girl in his grade level in his school and is so arrogant and says to understand popularity you have to be one. ....................does that sound immature and stupid to you?
