Very often, I hear people suggest that French cuisine, French fashion, and French art are the best of their kind. French restaurants are often the most expensive, and many people see having a separate residence in France as a sign of high status (relative to having a separate residence in any other country).

What explains this? Why are "French" and "sophisticated" or "cultured" so closely entertwined, even now that France is no longer the world power it once was?

Being of French ancestry I must tell you that what is special about the French is their 'et je ne sais quoi ', all the little things about the lifestyle and attitude.

definite! there is an extremely annoying guy at my artwork and everyone hates him. i have continuously defended him affirming he's purely kinda goofy, attempting to be humorous. in the destiny he were given stuck taking sixty money from my coworker, on account that then i do not see him as goofy. He even performed a song on the jukebox that I normallylike. ButI didn'tenjoy a lot because he's the single which performed it. (i'm a bartender) once you recognize what you recognize, it will continuously be contained in the decrease back of your options.

Very simple. We are a very gullible and very ignorant culture who can be lead around by the nose to follow any bullsheeiiiittttttt that hollywood or adveritsers or "ettiquitte" teachers say so that we can look the "most cool", most sophisticated, most up-to-date that we think is possible, when in reality we just look the most foolish of anyone. God help our ignorant, feeble asses.

i think it is because people are stuck in the past and do not realize how much France has changed. I, for one, cannot stand the French.
