Oh, please, please, *please* do this!
In recent years i have concluded that the quality of music played on a car stereo is inversely proportional to the volume at which it is played.
Please start a new trend and prove me wrong!
(If you have a good sound system, try playing Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. But not if the cops around, because they tend to get antsy when the cannons go off.)

Blasting Mozart in your car does several things at the same time. First of all, it expands your horizon, it makes you feel better and more importantly, it eliminates the need to hear the noise pollution created by today's commercialized and mass produced music labels or so called "entertainment" business.

It is just as rude to blast Mozart as it is the rap music. I would agree that Mozart is better quality than rap but that isn't the point. It doesn't make any sense to do the exact thing that you distaste.

It would be as rude as the grating rap music coming from the other car. It is the volume, not the content, that is rude.

I've tried this before, only with really old fashioned, twangy country music. I think this would work better than classical. The majority of people who listen to rap don't like country...it's annoying to them.

Yes, it is considered rude and it would suggest that you are an "snob" who likes their music loud.
Next people will blast foreign language tapes!!!

NO not at all as long as you have a good sound system to handle it, nothing sucks more than to hear a loud lousy sound system,.
P.S. I do play classical music, movie soundtracks at high levels mwhahahaha, so someone like me would like it

Nope! I have done it with really annoying anime music and with my little cousin's Barney CD. First they will try and turn their's up, so just turn yours up. They will get the point and turn their's down, or start yelling at you. Then you ignore them.
