let them eat cake, eh! that is a horrible, most all of the monies that help the homeless, comes from private donations, the public! this money supports homeless shelters and food banks and medical care. one of many laws they passed was to limit the tax write off on cars being donated to charities, now it has had a snowball effect, and almost 40% less cars are being donated to non profit agencies that help the homeless. this is about people, not all of the homeless are their by choice. Las Vegas attracts many people because of their booming economy, and weather. and it can make you or break you. many of the vices that attracts people ,can also ruin some unfortunates . and by limiting the donations by John Q public, is just silly nonsense, a classic text book example of government, being self serving and non responsible to people. private money! yours or mine or any ones Else's. and they limit it. think about it!

they do not want to encourage homeless people to stay in public places.

i,m not sure, i saw that also. i,m thinking it was something to do with cleaning up the city. they tend to just lay around anywhere they please.
