Then do you set it on a counter top at home?

I got an email about purses being contaminated with DEADLY diseases like samenela and ecolia and eye deseases! Have you ever thought about where you purse has been?

i never set my purse or bag down in a public restroom, its amazing how many chics manage to miss the bowl and pi*s all over the floor

I never set it on the floor or hang it on the door. Setting it on the floor can pick up contaminants. Hanging it on the door is a bad idea as well. Thieves have been known to reach over the door, grab your purse and be long gone before you even pull up your pants. My solution: I always wear a backpack purse that zips securely at the top. No flap openings.

I am a guy but every once and a while I have something I am carrying when I enter a restroom.

I either put it in my pocket if it will fit, hold onto it with one hand, trap it between my knees, or find a dry spot on the sink to set it down on.

If you are worried about diseases in the restroom, then try not to think about: door knobs, telephone handsets, pay phone headsets, and computer keyboards & mice.

For that matter, try not to think about the glasses at bars. You have seen the little sink they have back there. Tests have found everything from bacteria to human fecal matter on those drinking glasses.

And of course, never think about how many germs lurk about in hospitals.

I hang it on the door even though I have heard of the purse snatching warning. If no hook then on the top of the tp holder. Never on the floor.There are germs everywhere even in restaurants. My mom told me about a study about how many germs are on the ice cubes at eating establishments. It is sickening but we can't avoid having contact with germs they are everywhere.

I ALWAYS think about that stuff and If I have no place to hang it, I just wear it over my arm while I go. It's a pain I admit. P.S. I never open the bathroom doors or touch the sink faucets with my bare hand, either. I cover it with a paper towel, and I always flush with my foot.:) OTHER PEOPLE'S BATHROOM GERMS ARE YUCKY!

Hang it on the door rack or corner of the door, or on top of something high (like towel rack) where most people don't touch or put anything.

If everything is nasty, I keep it on my shoulder or find another bathroom!
