It's noisy, so you can be heard with effort, but it's slow and a hassle. You don't know her. You may or may not be on the dancefloor.

If it's a dance club then you ask her to dance. If she isn't dancing, then you can ask if she'd like a drink. If she says no and doesn't seem to want to talk, then look elsewhere. If she say yes, then play it by ear as to whether she's interested or just getting free drinks. Some are there to dance, some just for the outing and some looking for action. You just have to shift through the crowd depending on what you are looking for.
Clubs are not the best place to find relationships.

Back at uni me and my mate had it down to a subtle art.
1. Don't go out a a large pack - women can find this intimidating and guys tend to start adopting a pack like mentality. Small groupes are good - twos and threes (you need your wing man in case she's got mates who need occupying).
2. Either do it in the first third of the night (at the nightclub) or just don't bother - many a lad and lass has ended up with horrors due to desperation. If you don't pull early on - just enjoy your night with your mates.
3. (Again related to desperation) - If a girl can sense your desperate, forget it - she won't be interested. Play it cool, you can go on the dance floor if you like - just as long as you don't dance like a fool.
4. When you manage to start chatting to a girl you like - try not to be sleazy or cheesy - have a joke, have a laugh, keep her entertained. The longer you keep her talking, the better chance you have (oh - you can spray a little bit of cologne just next to your ear, that's where she'll probably have to speak to be heard in a noisy night club).

Be yourself, dont be a ****, ask out the nicest bird you can find as they´ll probably be really impressed you had the courage in the first place.
Oh and i dont suggest clubs. I stopped going because if you blank out the music and just watch its like watching the mating season of Lions on TV.

dont go to a club to pull , go to a quiet pub or a park . clubs are too noisy and everyone has drinking glasses on ,
