Was a few years ago when some big wig in the Catholic church said if Jesus were alive today, he would be a communist. He got into major trouble for that but I can't remember who it was.??

Every answer I see in these forums by Christians is deragatory and mean-spirited. They will usually end with remarks like "Oh but if you weren't a sinner" or "Maybe you should read the Bible next time" People are just asking questions. Why do Christians have to be like the Pharisees and judge others?

I have a best friend who has recenlty been wishy washy on plans. Sunday she wanted to go to a concert at a local park in our community and the concert started at 7:00pm. So, she calls me on my cell and leaves a voice mail at 6:48pm. Saying that we should go to the concert. In addition I asked her Saturday the day before, if she wanted to go she said no because she was going to be busy hanging out with her boyfreind.However, I was having dinner with my mom and some freinds of ours. So, I could not go because I did not have advance notice. She has been doing this to me a lot lately. Sometimes I ask if she wants to hang out and she always says maybe. Then, she calls me back several hours later that day to confirm if she wants to go out or not. A couple of weeks ago we had dinner arrangements. She called me the day before to confirm the dinner arrangement. I called her an hour before dinner to confirm and she told me she had already had dinner 10 min ago. Is her behavior rude?

in san antonio ther are too many to list due to its history with the alamo but one that sticks out is the ghost tracks where a school bus was hit by a train and killed everyone on board now when you go to the tracks the spirits push the car over the tracks and when they are done you can pull over and see hand prints on the car

I was working in Disneyland as a princess.I saw the guy who I've had a crush on for awhile,Brad.We made plans to meet after my shift.The dream shifted to nighttime and the only lighting in the park was with candles.He asked me if I wanted to take a walk and I said yes.We started walking and flirting.He asked me if I still liked him.I said yes.And he kinda smiled and said that he liked me too.He pulled me close to him, and put his arm around me,and took my hand with his other hand.He whispered in my ear,"So do you want to be my girlfriend or not?"I smiled and nodded my head yes.He smiled back and said "Well let's go then."We started trying to find his friends,so we went to Splash Mountain.There weren't two seats together,so I sat with his friends.They were fawning over me and spoiling me.His friend Mayette put a blue plastic princess crown on my head and gave me this huge fake smile.Right when she put the crown on me,he turned around and gave me this "WTF" look.Then I woke up.

And please don't just say something like, "God is the truth and the way and the life". I just REALLY want to know how Christains explain this in a rational manner. Even telling me it's some kind of trick is more rational than telling me God will guide me. That doesn't answer anything.

Here in Endland they say that Sunday is the first day of the week. But that makes no sense at all because:

Sunday is a day of rest for religious reasons: When God made the world he spent most of the week making light, sea, land, animals etc. and then rested on the LAST DAY and said that everyone should do so. This day of rest is now Sunday isn't it? Yes, it is. So why, then, do people say it's the first day of the week? God didn't rest and then make the world did he? No! You see? It makes no sense at all. Someone please explain

Plus when one recites the days of the week one says "Monday, Tuesday...etc" not "Sunday, Monday..."

When the writer of revelations said not to add to the book was he talking about the Bible or the book of revelations? Remember that Revelations was written as a seperate book and there was no Bible back then.
