ok so i screwed up my freashmen and soph year in high school but thanks god i bought up my gpa 1 whole point in my junior year and i am still working on it...just because i screwed up my first two high school years do i have to pay forever in my mothers eyes even when the colleges gives people another chance?

I think that Israel has to use so much force because the Palestinians are SO violent and stubborn!! If they were they never would have kidnapped the soldier iin the first place or killed people based on a land conflict and their religion. I for one hope Isreal keeps kicking butt. And if you thinl Israelis are the terrorists and you're gonna side with the Palestinians and mention all the "massacres" the Israelis have done: in the first place all those "massacres" were in retaliation for something the Palestinians Started. and in the second place you obviously don't agree with me, so why are you asnwereing the question in the first place. I want to see how many people agree with me on this and why. Not the other way around.

I mean it's just a book of morals. That's fine and well. Just because your parents or whomever said that God wrote it, almost everyone takes this as a fact without even thinking about it.

Doesn't it make more sense that smart men in different societies invented religion to control people and that's why there are different religions?

Do you think the majority of people are idiots. Is someone an idiot because they can't see the world as deeply as others? What about understanding a true sense of morals, not just a code of morals(LAW, RELIGION, ETC.) If one lives their life by a set of codes but never thinks about them are they a good person because their laws are good? What about living one's life with a sense of virtue. It just seems no one I meet ever takes the time to think or even care about any of these things.

There are so many different reasons that Evolution is proved wrong.

I read about the finches...and how they evolved...and of course i mean they breed or w/e with other birds and i dont care about them but whenever i hear about evolution it makes me mad.

Does it bother you when someone (usually a man) refers to you as a "female" instead of a "woman"? My husband does this when talking about women friends...he calls them female friends. For some reason, this makes me think of a female dog or cow or some other animal. All species have females, but only humans have women. Does this make sense? This isn't something I sit and stew over day in and day out, but it does bother me a little.

A woman went into her kitchen to find a burglar loaded down with a bunch of stuff he was stealing from her kitchen. Not having any kind of weapon to scare him off, she raised her hand and said "Acts 2:38," and proceeded to quote scripture.

The burglar froze in place and didn't move. The woman called 911, the police arrived and were amazed to find the burglar still frozen where he stood.

"What did you say to him that kept him from moving?" they asked the woman.

She told them that she had simply said Acts 2:38 and quoted scripture.

The police chuckled and escorted the burglar out to the patrol car. "Why did the woman's quoting scripture scare you so much?" they asked.

"Scripture?" said the burglar, "I thought she said she had an ax and two 38's!"

they allowed to have any such freedom of speech? How can our society allow such a thing? There is one thing to have your own beliefs, we're founded on that...blah blah blah...

I try and try to be judgmental, and tell people that they are going to hell because they don't believe in our savior, but I just can't do it. Any suggestions on how I can judge others, but not take into consideration my own sins, and feel good about it? I know it's possible because I see people do it every day in this section. Do I need to give up on this whole "honesty with self" kick I am on? Or should I just make like everyone else and judge people on an impossible standards that even I cannot measure up to? Just curious. Notice I did not say I needed more help being Christ Minded. I have no trouble with that. His principles seem to agree with mine.
