The Tao Teh Ching says that if we relent from exalting the talented, there will cease to be jealosy and rivalry. I don't think it means that we shouldn't recognize talent, simply that putting those with talent on pedestals is dangerous and is harmful to society in general. Just curious as to your opinions on this idea.

What do you think? i was listing to the Bill Press Show on Sirius this morning and he was telling a story about a up and coming athlete that was training to be a bike rider. this 75 year old man hit him and the guy was seriously injured and all the old man got was a 175 dollar fine for an illegal left turn. Now i know a lot of people think old people should off the road and have there licenses taken away. but this is like the question i asked one time "if some one was trying tp pass a state wide smoking ban would you vote yes?" now this is very similar a yes for a smoking ban or taking old people's license's would be for there own good but arent we soposes to have freedom? i want to know What you think??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Is there a clear cut definition at all? Then what are the White Community norms as opposed to Black Community nnorms or Ltino Community niorms? Religious Norms? Then again are the Workplace Norms? Are they different from all the above? If so what are they? Do the corporations write clearly in their employee handbooks what they are?
INS has been screening carefully all the foreigners that are admitted to US; why don't they have a program to educate foreigners about these norms?

Well, now that you have read the answers to my previous question about atheists not being criminals...you can see that there is still that element in both sides that would rather curse the light...no matter how innocent. Most white people aren't as evil as other races make us out to be. There are deranged and evil people in all races. So, why are white people always targeted as being evil and racist and the root of all problems in the world? I don't fit into any of those categories, and I'm tired of people saying it. For instance, slavery. I wasn't around when it happened, and if I was I would've been abolitionist anyway. Not all of us would've supported slavery or the bigotry of the "old south." It feels like people expect an apology for something I had no control over. I feel horrible about how something like that could happen, but I can't change it. I'm not evil and a lot of other white people aren't evil either. So, why do other races make us feel like the scum of the Earth?

Adam and Eve must have been blavk because thru the theory of evoluion, White is dorment and cant change, but black can become white over many years. and the Garden of Eden will have had to be in Africa which is positioned in the middle of the earth.
In the day's of Jesus being arrested the Roman Army, when the came to the camp could not distinguish who was jesus, becasue he was surrounded by his Apostiles who were Hebrew, had he been white (the Color of the Romans) they would have found him easily.
