How do you know what the Holy Trinity did or didn't do?

It seems to me that evil was in the process of taking over the entire world, when some good men got together and finally said NO!

If you think God played no part in that, read the history and see what those who fought and bled and died for righteousness, thought about it.

God was there. God led the fight. God won the fight.

are you kidding--if anything the church supported it. have you heard of hitler's pope?

to quote the review:

historic wrong turn in the Catholic Church. He meticulously builds his case for the painful conclusion that "the Pope's failure to respond to the enormity of the Holocaust was more than a personal failure, it was a failure of the papal office itself and the prevailing culture of Catholicism."

Remember the Pope is God's representative on earth--I can only conclude the holocaust was okay with the boys upstairs.

How many times did God plead with the Hebrew children to repent of worshiping false idols and imitating the cultures of the surrounding nations? He knew what would happen! He loved them. He still does.

Jesus Christ said, "Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, I wanted to gather you under my wings, but you would not."

The Holy Spirit deals with each and every human being (including Jews) every day.

Did nothing? How can you even say that?

I do not believe in the Trinity.

Why does God permit suffering?

Who really is to blame for it?

Humans are to blame for much of the suffering. They fight wars, commit crimes, pollute the environment, often carry on business in a manner motivated by greed rather than concern for their fellowman, and sometimes indulge in habits that they know can be harmful to their health. When they do these things, they hurt others and themselves. Should it be expected that humans would be immune to the consequences of what they do? Is it reasonable to blame God for these things that humans themselves do?

Satan and his demons also share responsibility. The Bible discloses that much suffering is because of the influence of wicked spirits. The suffering for which so many people blame God does not come from him at all.

I have no idea. But I do know that he sent people to stop the holocaust and gave us knowledge about it so we don't let it happen again.
